Lyanna Baratheon was hiding behind her book as her long black hair was held back in a braid and her bright blue eyes scanned the pages. She had the features of a typical Baratheon, and not much of her Lannister side was there to notice.
Lyanna was the first born daughter to King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister, and she was named after the King's true love, which had led to her mother's disapproval. The love she had shared with her three other kids compared with Lyanna was noticed by everyone in the realm, and thus Lyanna wasn't mentioned often when talking about the royal children.
"Have you packed already, Lyanna." Her King father says as he walks into her chambers.
"Please don't make me sit with them, I can ride with you, you won't even know I'm there. Please King Father, please!" Lyanna begged her father.
He smiled, "They are your brothers and sister, Lyanna." He says.
"But-." She started.
"Of course you're riding with us. I had a horse saddled for you already." He laughs and Lyanna wrapped her arms around her father.
"Thank you!" She says and she let out a deep relaxing breath.
"Now, go have some fun. This will be handled." Robert laughs.
"Am I allowed to practice the sword?" Lyanna asks quietly.
"As long as your mother does not see it." He answers and he nods. Lyanna jumped in excitement and she went down to the training fields right away. She sighs as she saw her younger brother, Joffrey.
"Here to encourage my success?" He asks.
Joffrey was heir to the throne and he loved the power already. He was clearly a son of Queen Cersei, as he had the golden hair of a Lannister and even the same eye colour they had. It was like nothing of their father was settled in the boy.
Lyanna loved how different she was from her siblings, sometimes she imagined she was the only heir to the throne, but she was sure if her father died before her mother, the Queen will do anything to keep her away, maybe even lie and say Lyanna is a bastard.
"Ours is the fury." Lyanna whisper to herself.
"What's that?" Joffrey asks.
"I said that I do worship your ego, dear brother, I'm looking for someone actually. The person isn't here so I'll be going now." She says, she knew it wasn't good to lie to her brother but he would go and tell mother, and that wasn't something Lyanna could use right before going on a ride to the north.A month riding, being expected to be nice to them. Lyanna sighs as she walks away from the training fields. No fighting for her.
