With a soft crackling noise the wooden door opened and Lyanna walked into the small chambers that were Bran’s. Her eyes met the blue ones of Lady Catelyn Stark and Lyanna instantly knew the mother had not moved from her seat since she sat down there. Lyanna slowly takes place in the seat on the opposite side of the bad and she gazed at Bran, she did not know what she wanted to say, but she knew she had to say something.
“Lady Stark, I don’t really know what or how to say anything that might help, but I shall pray to the old gods and the new for Bran’s wellbeing.” Lyanna say with a whispering voice, not really sure if Lady Catelyn heard, and not even sure it were her words.
“Thank you, Princess Lyanna. I truly hope the gods will hear us.” Lady Catelyn says, and she looked up to Lyanna and gave a weak and sad smile. It broke Lyanna’s heart to watch a person so strong and fierce being so broken.
Lyanna returned the smile and then she gazed at Bran again. He just laid there, with his eyes closed, like he was asleep and could wake up any moment from the littlest sound, knowing that he wouldn’t made the air feel even colder. Lyanna got up from her seat and she shuffles over to the bed, she placed a little kiss on Brans forehead, and she looked at him.
“Please, wake up soon.” She whispers, and she looks over to Lady Catelyn, “My lady, If there is anything I could do for you, or for your family, know that I would. Just say the word and I would do anything.” Lyanna promised and Lady Catelyn only gave a small nod.
With this Lyanna left the small chamber and she went downstairs, she headed to the only place she knew would give her some quiet time to think.

Lyanna did not like the godswood, especially the heart tree gave her the creeps. Those eyes that were carved into the wood by the Children of the Forest, they felt like they were watching your every move, and it wasn’t a pleasant feeling. Lyanna was used to be watched, Ser Godric watched her every day, but those wooden not real eyes were different.
With the fabric of her dress in her hand, she kneeled down in front of the heart tree. Lyanna prayed for the recovery of Bran, and she prayed for the gods to have mercy.
“Forgive, my princess, if you were at prayer.” A voice alarmed Lyanna and she quickly looked up and raised to her feet.
“It’s alright, Lady Sansa, I was already done anyway.” Lyanna says, but this was a lie, she wanted to pray for much other things too.
“Would you join me for a walk, my princess?” Sansa asks her, and Lyanna gazed at her for a moment, did she really just walked all the way up here, interrupt her while at prayer, for a walk?
“Of course, my lady.” Lyanna says, Lyanna thought Sansa was a nice girl and she would be a really good lady one day, far better than Lyanna would ever be, but truth be told, Lyanna never thought of herself much as a lady, it was too ordinary for her.
“Can I ask you what King’s Landing is like? I’ve heard stories and it sounds wonderful.” Sansa says, and Lyanna smiled at this, Sansa really wanted to leave this place, and Lyanna could understand that, if you have been living here all your life, she could understand you would want a change of climate.
“It’s much warmer and the clothes are more colorful.” Lyanna starts, “It is way more crowded too, you can’t go anywhere unnoticed, well that is if you’re someone other than me.” She chuckles at her own words, and Sansa just gazed at her with a blank expression, the Lady did not shared Lyanna’s adventurous mind.
“That sounds wonderful, my princess.” Sansa simply reacted, and Lyanna knew she had not given Sansa a full picture of the capital.
“Of course some people would say the capital smells like shit, but truly, it smells more alive than you would think, and if you can smell past the shit, you can actually smell the bakery and the flowers too. Speaking of flowers, the gardens are beautiful, if you would compare the godswood of King’s Landing to this one, I would choose the one from King’s Landing any time. Of course we don’t have a heart tree, but it wouldn’t quite fit the place, but anyways, the people are very nice, if you give them your kindness they are returning even the smallest gesture of kindness a thousand times over. It’s truly heartwarming.” Lyanna says and she notices that she had started to rattle, and she realized how much she missed the place. She wanted to go back, but at the same time she wanted to stay here.
“You talk about your home with such passion, only that is heart warming already.” Sansa chuckles, and Lyanna couldn’t suppress her own chuckle too.
Lyanna decided not to tell Sansa the bad things of the city, the slum part called Flea Bottom, or the drunk people at twilight, how far some things were apart from each other.
“I could show you around if we get there, if you’d like. It would be good to have someone to guide you who actually knows the place.” Lyanna smiles, referring to her brother, Joffrey did not understand how King’s Landing and it’s people worked, no Lyanna often wondered if her brother even got out of the Red Keep for other things than to practice, something he often did in the courtyard of the Red Keep.
“I would love to, my princess.” Sansa says with a smile.

“Tyrion, please enlighten me on how I am going to survive without you.” Lyanna asks as soon as she walked into the library. Tyrion gave her a smile and he quickly poured her a cup of wine. Lyanna disliked it very much that Tyrion would not join them back to King’s Landing, and go to the Wall instead.
“Well, my darling niece, you will do what you always do. Meaning doing everything your mother tells you not to do.” Tyrion Laughs and Lyanna chuckles at his words.
“That wouldn’t be so hard, I imagine,” Lyanna says between her chuckles, “I would only have to breath, and it annoys her.” To this Tyrion laughed too. “I will miss you though.” Lyanna admitted, and they both fell to silence, and Lyanna opened her book.
“I will miss you too, Lyanna.” He softly says, “Just promise me not to do anything stupid while I am away.”
“I promise.” Lyanna says to him, but she knew she could not keep that promise, so she decided to quickly change the subject. “I am thinking about asking father to let me stay here, at least until Bran wakes up, or until you return.” Lyanna says, and Tyrion narrowed his eyes.
“I don’t think that’s a very good idea, it can be dangerous, and I am pretty sure your beloved guard will have to return to King’s Landing with the royal party. I don’t think your father would agree to that, he’s not that stupid.” Tyrion says, and Lyanna focused on her book, not wanting to talk about it anymore.

As soon as Lyanna left the library, she noticed her head was spinning a little, aka she was feeling a little drunk.
“Hey, Princess, can we talk?” Ser Godric asks her, and she turned to him.
“Yes, of course we can, I was meant to tell you something too.” She smiled to him and she was kind off glad that he started the conversation, as she wanted his advice too, but she did not knew how to properly speak to him about it.
“Oh. Go ahead, the princess first.”  He says with a little smile, he was very curious to what she was going to say, but he couldn’t suppress the feeling of worry too.
“I am thinking about staying in Winterfell a little while longer, to support the Starks in this hard time. And then I will head back when Tyrion passes Winterfell too.” Lyanna says and she straighten her back. Ser Godric opened his mouth in disbelieve, he expected to hear a lot from her, but this wasn’t anything he would have imagined.
“My princess, you- you want to stay?” He asks as he found his voice again.
“Yes, I want very much to stay, at least until Bran wakes up.” Lyanna admits and she looked straight into his eyes. “I want to help them, I can hardly imagine how it must feel like.”
“You can’t help them. The little boy’s fate is in the hands of the gods, and it doesn’t matter if you stay here and pray to all the bloody gods or if you come with us, where it is safe, and pray on our way.” Ser Godric says and he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, to give a more powerfull expression.
“I just want to help, Ser.” Lyanna sighs.
“I understand, my princess, but what could you possibly do here, that hasn’t been done by others?” Ser Godric says, with a much softer voice now.
“I don’t know, maybe just be emotional support for them.” She suggests, but she had not a real idea what she could do here, she just want to help them so badly, she just haven’t figured out how she wat going to show that to them yet. “I know for a fact that mother wouldn’t mind.”
There was a silence between the two of them.
“But you wanted to say something to me too, so what is it?” Lyanna than asks, and she looks at him.
“I was going to remark the growing friendship between you and the Stark boy, but I reconsidered it.” Ser Godric says and this annoyed Lyanna a bit.
“Look, Ser, you are my friend, but Robb is also my friend. He is just another friend. You do not have to be jealous, but I shall not say that you have no right to be jealous. Ser, you know that you are my oldest and my best friend. Please remember that.” She says and she places a kiss on his cheek and then she started to walk away from him and towards her chambers.
