    "Marry me."
The words were out before Petyr really thought it through and it really came as a shock for Lyanna, so much even that she took a step back.
"Petyr, I..." She starts and he sighs before cutting her off.
"I don't need an answer right now, just think about it." Of course he wanted to hear her say yes in an instant, but he also knew that Lyanna was too delicate to give in instant reaction on a question like this.
Petyr knew he had to give her time, the possibility to think it through, to go over every other option before she would give him her answer, and he just had to accept that and wait. "I think I should go."
"Petyr." Lyanna stopped him before he could walk away, "I'm sorry that I can't give you an answer right away." She tells him and he could see her apology in her eyes. He give her a simple nod before walking away.

Myrcella hurried into Lyanna's room and Lyanna looks up from her book with confusion, but when she sees her little sisters worried and scared face she instantly raised to her feet.
"What happened?" She asks her little sister.
"It's our lord father. He came back from the hunt." Myrcella says and Lyanna's heart sank a little.
    "Myrcella what happened?" She asks.
"He was attacked by a boar." The little girl says and Lyanna didn't need to hear anything else before practically sprinting to her father's chambers.
"Father!" She says as she barged in.
"My darling Lyanna." He says with a painful smile, "You shouldn't see me like this."
"Father are you alright?" She asks him and he looks at him, of course he wasn't, he was close to dying.
"I am now, Lyanna." He says and Lyanna looked up shocked as someone touched her arm, only realising that it was Ser Godric and she relaxed a little.
"Is there anything I can do for you? Father." Lyanna asks but he just shook his head and grabbed her hand.
They sat like that for a while, a long while.
"I need to speak to Eddard." He then spoke and Lyanna nodded.
"Ser Godric, go fetch Lord Stark, please." She turned to her guard and he nodded too and walked away as she turned back to her father.
"Don't make the same mistakes I did, Lyanna. Don't wait too long to marry the person you want to. If I wasn't so busy with war I would have married the love of my life. Don't let the Lannisters stand in the way of your luck." He whispers.
    "I won't, Father, I won't." She promises him.

Lyanna was sent away when Ned arrived and now she was sitting in the garden with Ser Godric next to her. Her eyes were red and swollen, but she couldn't stop crying knowing what she knew.
"It'll be alright, my princess, the King will get better, he's a tough man." Ser Godric tried to make her feel better, but she saw what the condition was, she knew that her father knew too.
    "Don't humor me." She whispers.
Lyanna's brain was working on high speed. If her father died her mother was the only queen. Her mother has done nothing but to find anything to disown her. She wouldn't be safe when her father died. She had to leave. But she couldn't leave Petyr. That would mean she would decline his offer of marriage even though her leaving would make it all possible.
The tears started to fall again, if her father died her whole life would change and not for the better.
"I need to go." Lyanna says and she get up.
Ser Godric followed her movement. "You're not going anywhere without a guard." He says and Lyanna sighs.
"Trust me, you don't want to be where I'm going." She tells her guard.
"I wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to you, so you either let me join or you're not going anywhere." He tells her and she nods.
"Fine, whatever. Let's saddle Deer shall we." Lyanna says and Ser Godric nods.
At the stables Lyanna looked at Ser Godric. "Take off the armour." She commanded.
    "Why?" He asks.
"Because I tell you to. You said you were joining me, and I don't want people to know where I'm going. So take off that armour." She commanded him, and he did what she asked of him.
