After the tournament the King looked up her daughter and he made her sit on a chair in his tent.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk about, Father?" Lyanna asks and she looked up to him.
Robert gave her a cup of wine and he looked at his daughter
"I got a new marriage proposal." Robert smiles and he takes a sip of his wine.
"Tell me about it." Lyanna says, a sudden annoyance came over her.
"Lord Mace Tyrell offers to marry his son to you." Robert says, "Ser Loras Tyrell."
"Ser Loras Tyrell you say? Can I think about this before you give your answer back to Lord Tyrell?" Lyanna asks.
"Of course my love." He says, and Lyanna nods, she takes another sip of her drink before placing it on a nearby table.
"If that's all, my King." Lyanna says, and he nods.
"That's all, off you go." He sighs an she leaves. Her first reaction was to find some consult on this, so Lyanna sat in the garden, overlooking the bay.
"You wanted to speak to me, my princess."
Lyanna looked up, and she gave Lord Baelish a firm nod.
"Yes, I need some consult on a matter, and you need to promise me to not tell anyone." Lyanna says and Lord Baelish sat down next to her.
"About what? I promise not to tell anyone." He promises her.
"My father tells me he got a new marriage proposal." She tells him.
"So I've heard, Ser Loras Tyrell would be a very good match for you. You would do well in the South." Lord Baelish says, and Lyanna was surprised that he knew about this.
"But- I don't know him." Lyanna says.
"To be fair, my princess, do you think you will ever marry a lord you already know?" Lord Baelish asks.
"Probably not." Lyanna sighs, and she looks up at him.
"Then you can better take the offer, and become Lady of Highgarden, wife of the Warden of the South and the Lord Paramount of the Reach." Lord Baelish says, and Lyanna got the point.
"Thank you for your council, Lord Baelish." Lyanna says.Lyanna took her place on their practice field, She looked at her uncle and she smiles at him.
"Father wants to have me married to Ser Loras Tyrell." Lyanna says as she blocks his attack.
"Don't accept the offer." Jaime tells her, "He likes the company of men more than a woman's."
"Hmm." Lyanna says as she swings her sword at him, "Baelish thinks I should do it."
"And you think he's right?" Jaime asks, his sword touches her arm.
"I don't know." Lyanna says, "Maybe."
"Didn't you had your eyes set on someone else?" Jaime asks her and she frowns.
They let a silence fall in which he swung his sword at her.Lyanna opened the door to her father's chambers, she had made up her mind, and she was ready to tell her father what she thought.
"What is it, my dear." The King asks Lyanna as she walks in.
Lyanna sat down on the nearby chair and she gazed at her father.
"I've thought about the offer, and I have to decline." Lyanna says.
Robert smiles at her and he poured her a glass of wine.
"And why do you decline, if I may ask?" He asks her.
"Because it is said that Loras Tyrell likes men, not women. And I do not wish to be associated with that even if it is not more than rumors." Lyanna says and she sighs, "Besides, I think I can do better than Ser Loras." She adds in a voice barely over a whisper.
"I love to see with what you come up with." He looks at her as he raised from his chair, "Because I am getting tired of declining every offer I get."
"Father, I understand." She sighs, "And I shall make sure I will find someone suited for me, father, don't worry about it."
