Lyanna heard about what happened that afternoon, but she could hardly believe the version she had heard, she knew somehow there was more to it.
Lyanna stood next to Ser Godric as they watched Ned Stark walk in. She heard Arya repeat "I'm Sorry." to her father a multiple times.
"You hurt?" Lord Stark asked his youngest daughter.
"No." She quickly replied and Lord Stark hugged her.
He then turned to Lyanna's father, "What is the meaning of this?" He asked, blame was clearly audible in his voice, "Why was my daughter not brought to me at once?" He asks.
"How dare you speak to your king in that matter?" Cersei quietly asks.
"Quiet woman." Her father quickly told her, "Sorry Ned, I never meant to frighten the girl, but we need to get this business done quickly." He then says to his friend.
"Your girl and that butcher's boy attacked my son. That animal of hers nearly tore his arm off." Cersei says, with a small glance at the bandaged arm of Joffrey.
"That's not true!" Arya says quickly, "She just bit him a little."
To this Lyanna couldn't keep in her giggle, receiving a foul look from her mother and she quickly shut up again.
"He was hurting Myca." Arya explained.
"Joff told us what happened, you and that boy beat him with clubs while you set your wolf on him." Cersei says.
"That's not what happened." Arya says.
"Yes it is!" Joffrey says, "They all attacked me and she threw my sword in the river."
"Liar!" Arya called him.
"Shut up!" Joffrey says, Lyanna couldn't suppress the thought of the little girl having even more balls than Joffrey had.
"Enough!" The King yelled, "He tells me one thing, she tells me another! Seven Hells, what am I to make of this. Where's your other daughter, Ned?" The King asks.
"In bed, asleep." He tells him.
"She's not..." Cersei says, "Sansa, Come here darling."
Ned turned around, in disbelieve. the guards and men made place so Sansa could walk towards the queen.
"Now, Child." The king says as he pointed at the spot in front of him, "Tell me what happened, tell it all and tell it true. It's a great crime to lie to a king."
Sansa looked at her father and then at Joffrey, "I don't know, I don't remember, everything happened so fast. I didn't see." Sansa says.
Arya reacted quickly to this, "Liar!" She yelled as she start to pull Sansa's hair. "Liar! Liar! Lair!"
"Arya!" Ned says as he pulled her away from her sister.
"She's as wild as that animal of her. I want her punished." Cersei says, and Lyanna feld the sudden need to step forward but Ser Godric had placed his arm in front of her to hold her back.
"What would you have me do? Whip her through the streets? Damnit. Children fight, it's over." The King says and Lyanna let out a sigh of relief.
"Joffrey will wear these scars for the rest of his life." Cersei says.
"You let that little girl disarm you?" The King asks, a disgusted undertone was audible to Lyanna and a sudden smile crept upon her lips.
"Ned, see to it that your daughter's disciplined. I'll do the same with my son." The King says.
"Gladly, your grace." Lord Stark says, and he glanced over to Arya. The King rose to his feet and he wanted to walk away.
"And what of the direwolf?" Cersei asks, making Robert look back to her, "What of the beast that savaged your son?"
"I forgot the damned wolf." He says and she glanced over to the guard.
"We found no trace of the direwolf, your grace." The guard says.
"No? So be it." The King says with a firm nod.
"We have another wolf." Cersei says, and Lyanna knew she was just looking for blood.
"As you will." The King says as he started to walk out.
"You can't mean it." Ned says as the king passed him.
"A Direwolf is not a pet. Get her a dog, she would be happier for it." Robert says and Lyanna stared at what was happening.
"He doesn't mean Lady, does he?" Sansa asks. "No, No! Not Lady! Lady didn't bite anyone! She's Good!" Sansa says with anger and fear and sorrow.
"Lady wasn't there!" Arya now says too, with a strong yet shaky voice, "You leave her alone."
"Stop them, don't let them do it." Sansa begs her father, "Please! Please! It wasn't Lady!"
"Is this your command?" Lord Stark asks Robert, "Your grace?"
But King Robert ignored it and he walked out.
"Where is the beast?" Cersei asks in a light voice to the guard.
"Chained up, outside, your grace." The guard says.
"Ser Ilyn, do me the honor." Cersei says, and Lyanna looked over at the creep called Ser Ilyn Payne.
"No." Lord Stark says. "Jory, take the girls to their rooms. If it must be done, I'll do it myself."
"Is this some trick?" Cersei asks.
"The wolf is of the north, she deserves better than a butcher." Lord Stark says.
It tore Lyanna's heart to see Sansa crying and being broken over the wolf, and she really wanted to do something but she couldn't, as Ser Godric was still holding her back, and the look her uncle gave her from time to time made her not speak up.
