Breakfast was served and one of the maidens was sent to fetch the King and his daughter, it was not as luxurious as she was used to in the red keep, but she understood that they were traveling so of course their luxurious lives were behind them for a while.
Lyanna shot a look at Jaime, who smiles back at her. She then looked at her mother, who did not even glare at her and Lyanna sat down in silent next to her little sister.
“Why are you not joining us in the carriage, Lyanna?” Myrcella asks her sister, and Lyanna smiled at her.
“I like to ride rather than to sit locked up in a carriage, my dear princess.” Lyanna chuckles in reply. Myrcella smiled back at her and she nodded.
“Have you read the book I had recommended?” Tyrion asks Lyanna, the imp was quite fond of his niece, he thought she was very intelligent and he admired how she handled everything.
“Actually, I am always done with it. It’s a very interesting book with an very interesting story.” Lyanna answers.
“You should show up to your lessons with the septa, rather than reading some filthy book.” Cersei sneered.
“And when was the last time you have read a book, mother?” Lyanna asks with great sarcasm at the word ‘mother’. Lyanna knew very well that her mother would not cause a scene in front of her other children, nor in front of her husband or her brother. Lyanna rather enjoyed the frustrated look from her mother.
“That’s enough my dear.” King Robert says to his eldest daughter.
It was noticeable that Lyanna was never addressed with her name in the presence of her mother, but she let that case rest a long time ago.

“You look very tired, princess.” Ser Godric stated after breakfast, Lyanna gave him a gentle smile.
“Haven’t slept that great, to be honest.” She admit, she missed her comfortable bed in the Red Keep, although this wasn’t really that bad. Also Lyanna decided not to tell Ser Godric yet about her lessons with Jaime, or about what the offer her father made.
“It would be wise to travel with the carriage today.” He says and Lyanna shakes her head. There was no way she would spend the whole day with her mother in such a small place.
“I will ride today, so, where did I leave my gloves?” She asks and they walked back to her tent.
The camp was quite restless, as everyone was packing.
Lyana quickly found her gloves and she sent Ser Godric to fetch her horse for her.

“Uncle Jaime, Can I talk to you about something?” Lyanna asks as she rides next to him.
Jaime looked up at her, and she was instantly in doubt whether this was a good idea or not, but she decided to ask him anyway.
“I suppose you can.” He simply says after he had inspected her.
“I’m sure you heard of the marriage proposals my father is thinking about…” Lyanna says, and she looked up to him, right into his green eyes. “I want your opinion on it.”
“My opinion…” Jaime says as he was thinking about it, “I think it would be a shame to lock you up in the North. You have so much potential, I think it would be better to have the Stark girl married into your family, than the other way around.” He says and Lyanna nods.
“Hmm, that’s almost the exact thing I told my father.” She says.
“Have you asked your friend?” He asks as he turns around to Ser Godric, and Lyanna shakes her head.
“I think I already know what his answer would be. He wouldn’t want me to be sent away.” She says and she too looked around to him.
“Well you would marry into a powerful family, The Starks ruled the North for centuries.” Jaime says, “And you would be free of the Keep and everything that’s limiting you right now. You might grow into an even stronger person up there.” He says. And he looks at Lyanna.
“You do know Lord Tywin considers me as the next in line for Casterly Rock, right after you, if you consider to stop being a Kingsguard and take your lordship.” Lyanna says, which made Jaime look up.
“No, I didn't knew about that.” He says and Lyanna became red, maybe she shouldn’t have spilled that. “Does Cersei know about this?” He asks and Lyanna looks down to her hands.
“I don’t think so. Lord Tywin told me, but know I think he only told me, and I think I wasn’t supposed to talk about it.” She admits, and Jaime placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Than this would be our little secret.” He says and he smiles to her.
