Krissy's Point of View
My alarm started to ring next to my head. I reached out and shut it off, not wanting to hear the annoyingness. I stretched my limbs, remembering what today was. Waking up, I felt nervous and excited. Today was the day where I would be finally meeting my client. I had been emailing his agent for the last week, discovering that our client is a football player in the NFL. He didn't want to discuss exactly his name or what team until we met. I think it was more for patient confidentiality then anything. Besides, I tried searching for my client but nothing came up. Looks like no one knows about the incident.

I slid out of bed, careful to not wake up Daniel. He was snoring softly. He looked adorable. I loved waking up next to him everyday. It gave me a sense of security and love. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. That was one thing I was sure of.

I made the small walk towards our bathroom, shutting the door quietly. I hit the light switch, seeing my mess of hair in the mirror. I sighed. I guess I needed to wash my hair, again. For some reason, whenever I go to bed, my hair decides to tangle its self. I turned the shower on, slipping out of my pajamas, and stepped into the warmth. I let the warm water wash away my worries.

Actually, all it did was make me more nervous. Having alone time in my brain did not help my current state. I wanted this to work. No, I needed this to work. It was going to be my first official case as a lawyer, as well as a partner. I couldn't mess this up. Nothing could ruin this opportunity for me. Nothing could and I was going to make sure of that.

I turned the shower off, wrapping my body in a towel. I stepped out and examined my wet hair. It was less of a nest and more like regular brown strands of hair. Satisfied with my job, I grabbed a hairbrush. I began to tame it, letting it partially air dry. Once done, I grabbed my blow dryer. I plugged it in and began to dry the rest of my hair. When every single piece was dry, I plugged in my wand.

I needed to look rather presentable today. I needed my client to like me as well as take me seriously. After I was done curling my hair, I began to do my makeup. I added primer, foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, contour, blush, and highlight. I went the whole way. I was impressed with my new complexion, noticing my bare shoulders. I put down my makeup brush and stepped out of my bathroom.

Opening the door, I saw that Daniel was now spread out on the entire bed. His little snores continued to leave his mouth. I awed as I walked into my closet. I chose a black mini skirt with a white and black polka dot blouse. It was light and flowey. It gave me the sophistication I needed. I slid them on, as well as my undergarments. I then went back into my bathroom to finish my face. I did a simple nude lid with thick, long lashes and soft pink lip. It had just enough shimmer to not make it over the top. I then shut off the light and stepped out of my bathroom.

"You look gorgeous." I heard walking into my bedroom. Daniel was now up and leaning on some of the pillows. His bare chest in full display. Too bad that I have this meeting.

"Good morning babe." I said giggling. I went back into my closet and chose a pair of simple nude pumps. I then slid on my pearl necklace and some plain gold rings. Both presents from Daniel. He loves to buy me jewelry.

"Where are you going on this wonderful Wednesday?" Daniel asked from inside the room. I took one last glance in the mirror, satisfied with my appearance, before walking back into the room. He was still sitting up, observing me.

"Work. It's my first meeting with that client that got caught drunk driving." I told him. I unplugged my phone from the night stand and slid it into my silver Michael Kors bag. Another present from Daniel.
