Blake's Point of View
I paced my room, being careful to not run into anything. It had been a few days since we got back from Connecticut. Daniel never came back after that night and things with Krissy were unchanged. The rest of the trip was uneventful, besides the food poisoning Carlos got from eating raw meat. Asher dared him to raw pork that Mrs. Reagan was cooking one night. I didn't think he was actually going to do it. He's a complete buffoon. He stayed in bed moping for a couple of days. I think he was just doing it to have Morgan take care of him. She was happy to do it. I swear those two are perfect for each other. Before we know it, they'll be getting married too.

Asher and Sophie did their own thing most of the time. It seems as if they're still in the honeymoon stage. They didn't fight or even bicker. They agree over everything. They were very annoyingly gross to be around. At least when Sophie was with the girls, I got to hang with Asher.

Without Asher, I didn't really know what to do with my free time. I guess I just went out for runs and enjoyed watching football with Krissy's dad. He asked me everything and anything about the league. He even mentioned he was proud of my success. He liked hanging out with me.

Krissy, on the other hand, stayed her distance from me. She would tense whenever I was around. It was if she wasn't used to me anymore. I didn't know what to do to make her relax. At least she seemed to be somewhat happier since her break up. I'm sure having Morgan and Sophie around helped, especially her parents. I could tell how much she missed them. She was always close to them and having to live in different states must be hard. I should call my own parents soon.

I tried to find some alone time with Krissy, but she never gave me the chance. I could tell she was still confused about her feelings for me. She said she loved me, but said she can never be with me. I'm confused about that statement. Isn't one supposed to be with the one they love? Whatever she meant, I was going to get her back. She just needed to give me a second chance. I wasn't going to mess this up.

"Blake!" I heard Carlos' voice within my home. I stopped my pacing and focused on him. When did he get here? I slammed my bedroom door behind me and went through my trophy room to the living room. It was faster than walking all the way around. It was like a little shortcut.

I saw Carlos sitting on the couch, with sweats and a hoodie. I wondered if it finally began to snow here. The temperatures were well below freezing. I looked at the tv and saw that he was watching some of our highlights on ESPN. We had played against the Jets last night. We almost lost. It was one of the closest games we've had. It was exhilarating, yet satisfying. It was the outlet I needed after the week back home of confusion.

"Yes?" I asked him. He paused the tv, turning to look at me. He had annoyance written all over his face.

"Can you stop pacing? You are making me nervous." He said. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"You're nervous? I'm the one with their court case today! I might be sent to jail!" I shouted at him. He flinched at the rise in volume. I sighed. "I'm sorry Carlos. It's just that I don't want to lose football, at least not until I know I have Krissy. None of this is worth it if I don't have her."

"Dude, Morgan said that Krissy has been thinking about you. Except i'm not sure if it's romantically or professionally." Carlos told me deep in thought. I sighed, letting my body drop onto the couch. That was the million dollar question.

"That doesn't make me feel any better about anything." I groaned. Carlos sighed before whacking me in the face with a pillow from the couch. "Hey!"

"Snap out of it man. Krissy will come back to you. Now relax and enjoy this game. I can't believe we almost went into overtime." Carlos told me. I nodded as I watched ESPN show me throwing a cannon to him last night. He caught with ease to score.
