Chapter 19

Soo-ji looked down at Yoongi's hand still holding onto hers tightly.

He wasn't willing to let her go.

And she knew... She knew that if Yoongi had to choose between her and the boys, he would choose her.

Her heart beat rapidly at this realisation. There's no way she would let him choose her over them. After all, there's six lives on the line over one of hers.

And there's no way she would watch him die at the hands of Bora's father.

Taking in a deep breath, she pulled her hand away from his and stepped forward.

"Yoongi doesn't have to choose." She said loudly to Bora.

She felt her arm being pulled back and turned to see Yoongi gaping at her incredulously.

"Don't." He whispered loudly to her, "you're not putting yourself forward. I won't fucking let you."

Soo-ji gave him a small reassuring smile. "I'm not going to stand there and watch you and the others die. Besides, she won't kill me straight away, you'll have time to come save me."

"What the fuck are you even saying?!" Yoongi shouted as he stared at her like she's fucking mad too.

The little smile on Soo-ji's lips dropped and she reached up on her toes to give him a single kiss on his lips.

"I love you." She said, her voice shaking through the lump forming at the back of her throat.

She took another step towards Bora, but Yoongi once again pulled her back into his chest.

"Hoseok and Jin are about the bleed to death there, Yoongi!" Soo-ji shouted at him, the tears finally falling.

"And Namjoon's next." She said quietly to him, fully aware that Bora was still pointing a gun towards his chest. "So please..."

Soo-ji wriggled herself free from his chest, his arms still holding onto her tightly as if afraid this was the last time he could hold her.

She walked towards Bora, looked her in the eye without any fear and said, "remember what you said that day when you broke into my locker?"

Probably not a good time to put words back in her mouth.

Bora narrowed her eyes before Soo-ji continued, "you said I'm not aware of what you're capable of..."

"So... show me." Soo-ji said finally.

Bora dropped the gun at her sides, her face lighting up as she turned her heel to walk towards the many cars behind her.

Soo-ji felt a hard push by one of the men as they all headed after Bora. She turned her head back to look at Yoongi, his face boring a painful expression as he helplessly watched her being taken away.

As she was bundled into the back seats of a car, the last thing she saw was Yoongi's tear filled eyes before the car drove away.

Yoongi, on the other hand, immediately ran to Jin, who was slumped on the floor, a pool of blood around him.

"You fucking idiot!" Namjoon shouted at Yoongi. "You shouldn't have let Soo-ji go!"

"Not helping, Namjoon. Now shut the fuck up!" Yoongi shouted back through a cracked voice, helping Jin up to his feet.

"No!" Namjoon continued, "it's another one of Bora's trap!"

"What...?" Yoongi breathed out.

"She already told us to tell you that she'll be taking Soo-ji to the Charles Seven Casino now! She knew all along that you wouldn't give Soo-ji up and she was gonna hurt us one by one until you did!"

"But she didn't expect Soo-ji to sacrifice herself for us just like that..." Jungkook said quietly.

"Why does she want to lure me to the Charles Seven Casino?" Yoongi asked, trying to comprehend everything that's happening so fast now.

"No idea..." Taehyung muttered under his breath, "but whatever she's fucking playing at, she knows you're gonna go along with it to save Soo-ji."

Drawing out a deep breath, Yoongi clenched his hands into a tight fist as he stood up.

"Jimin." He called out, "go inform that bitch's father what's happening. Taehyung, Namjoon, Jungkook. You three take Jin and Hoseok to the hospital."

"What?!" Jungkook exclaimed, "at least let one of us come with you! That bitch is crazy!"

"No." Yoongi said sternly, cutting off all their arguments at once, "she wants me there alone."

Before turning around to jump on his motorbike, the anger radiating off him, he said in a loud confident voice for them to hear, "she's mine to fucking kill if Soo-ji even lose a strand of hair tonight."

Everything was planned out.

As soon as Yoongi walked inside the Charles Seven Casino, he was greeted by one of the men he saw earlier with Bora.

"Sir," the man said with a lighthearted smile, "Miss Kwon is waiting for you in the hotel upstairs in room 708. Please follow me."

As Yoongi followed him up to the hotel above the casino, he noticed that there were more of her men following closely behind him.

He contemplated on taking them all out right there, but his thoughts were cut short when a loud high pitched scream echoed from room 708.

Soo-ji...

Yoongi was immediately pushed inside the room and his heart dropped at the sight of the girl he loves so much in front of him.

Soo-ji was lying on the floor with Bora's men standing around her, each of them holding knives... and his stomach flipped upside down when he saw her arms and legs were covered in slashes.

"Oh! Yoongi oppa! You're here!" Bora beamed happily in excitement.

Yoongi trailed his eyes from the top of her body to the bottom.

If anything can be more confusing for one night, this was it. For Bora was wearing red lace lingerie and stockings.

Yoongi immediately drew his gun out and aimed it in between Bora's eyes.

"I will really fucking kill you if you don't let Soo-ji go." He said to her, his jaw clenched so tight.

Bora shrugged casually and sat back down on the bed in the middle of the room.

"Kill me, then." She said nonchalantly, pulling out a lipstick and applying it on her lips.

"But if I die," she continued, "your precious girlfriend dies too."

Yoongi watched her closely. Bora was now walking up to him with a sickly sweet smile on her face, her hips swaying provocatively in that god awful lingerie.

"What do you want, Bora?"

"I've always wanted you, oppa." She cooed next to his ear, sending shivers down his spine.

"I'm gonna be generous and give you a chance to save Choi Soo-ji."

He turned to look at her next to him. Her face was so close to him that he wanted to just snap her neck off right there.

"Have sex with me."

"In front of your Soo-ji."
