Chapter 6

Soo-ji was just heading towards her locker in the morning before class to retrieve her study materials for the day.

However, she arrived to see her locker burst open and her books and belongings were strewn all over the floor.

Everyone stared and walked around her, murmuring amongst themselves.

Her attention was brought to hysterical laughing at the far end of the corridor, where Kwon Bora stood with her friends.

Bora smirked at her, crossing her arms across her chest.

She let out a deep breath as she felt her anger rising. "So she did this..." Soo-ji muttered to herself. Her hands balling into fists at her sides.

She bent down to pick up her books quickly when she saw a pair of hands helping her to gather her stuff. She looked up to see Yoongi.

"Thanks," she said quietly to him when they stood and he handed her her things.

She hastily shoved her stuff in her locker and stomped towards Bora, leaving Yoongi to follow behind.

"An apology would be nice." Soo-ji scowled, glaring at Bora.

"Excuse me?" Bora blinked her eyes a few times, pretending to not know what she was saying. "Apology for what?"

"Breaking into my locker." Bora's face was starting to annoy the hell out of her.

Everyone started to gather around them now.

Bora let out a condescending laugh. "And what proof do you have that I did it? Don't go pointing fingers at innocent people."

"Only you would do such pathetic things in this school."

Everybody's eyes widened at what Soo-ji just spat at Bora.

"Bora..." Yoongi started, "did you do this?"

"Oppa, you believe her?!" Her voice screeched.

Soo-ji rolled her eyes, "step up your childish games if you want to play."

Bora's face twisted in anger and she took a threatening step towards Soo-ji.

"You think you're so tough, Choi Soo-ji. You're not aware what I'm capable of."

"Bora." Yoongi warned under his breath. He placed a hand on Bora's arm, ready to pull her back.

"You're wrong." Soo-ji said calmly. "I'm not tough. I just don't see why I should tolerate your shit."

Bora shrugged her arm out of Yoongi's grasp roughly and pushed Soo-ji hard against her chest, causing her to stumble backwards.

Soo-ji's back hit the wall and her breath caught from the sudden impact. She winced as she felt pain shoot up her spine.

Out of the corner of her eye, she could saw Bora's smug grin before proceeding to walk away with her friends.

Yoongi was just going to step forward to pull Bora back when-

UGH THIS BRAT NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT, Soo-ji screamed in her head.

All of a sudden, Yoongi watched Bora's body flail backwards as Soo-ji yanked her back with a fistful of her hair in her hands.

"AHHHHH!" Bora's high pitched voice screamed.

Yoongi watched wide-eyed, frozen. He quickly brought his hand up to his mouth to cover his smile.

Yeah, Soo-ji doesn't need help.

He quickly stepped in between them, dragging a hysterical Bora from launching herself at Soo-ji away from the scene.
