Chapter 29 || Zebras and the Zoo

Dani's POV

My fear grows more and more when Brooklyn won't answer me on my seventh,
"Where are we going?" he just smirks and tells me to close my eyes.

I do as I am told and let Brooklyn lead me to wherever we are going. I hear a lion roar and I jump up and down with excitement, squeezing his hand as I do so.

"Ack. Stupid lion gave it all away." He smiles and I hug him tightly. The zoo! I love the zoo! I used to come all the time when I was little but I don't think I've been in at least a year.

"Brooklyn this is gorgeous. Thank you." I smile at him and he looks down in embarrassment. "Don't be embarrassed this is literally the best date ever." I immediately take back what I said. Is this even a date. I mean, we slept together but I still can't be sure that he loves me like he says he does.

As if he can read my mind he says,
"It's a date" and slinks his arm round my shoulder.

I am a very organised person so I had the whole day planned.

First we went to the penguins and watched a feeding, then the tigers, the elephants and the lions. After that we had lunch in a small cafe then finished the day off with monkeys, zebras, bears and camels.

Before we go Brooklyn and I are sitting on a bench, drinking milkshakes.

"This is a good milkshake." Brooklyn smiles at me and white froff is placed just above his upper lip. I giggle, he's such a dork.

"What?" he asks, obviously confused.

"You've got a milkshake moustache." I giggle and he tries to get it off with his tongue.

"Here, let me help." I lean and place my lips against his and I can feel him smiling into the kiss. Once I pull away we both laugh because it only made it worse and now we both have unwanted moustaches.

Once we've finished laughing and wipe away our milkstaches I look at Brooklyn and take his hands, tracing small circles on his knuckles.

"I had a really great day today." I blush and he pulls me to my feet.

"So did I" he pecks my cheek and I feel that for once he isn't playing his games and maybe, just maybe I have a chance of forgiving him, or at least forgetting what he did.

We continue chatting and laughing in the car ride home but once we get there we are greeted by a very unpleasant grimace from Victoria.

My parents were expecting me home as I texted them this morning but I still wanted to know what on earth was going on.

Hola guys! I'm soooo sorry I won't be able to update this Thursday because I'm going on some stupid camping trip for a week😭😭😭😭 I'm absolutely dreading it. I promise I've got an incredibly juicy part next which will be extra long and ready for Sunday.
