One Week Later

Bridget narrows her eyes as she kicks the desk. All that was left were his old notes, which there was not a lot of, weapons, some salt, symbols of protection. "Anything?" Alice demands. Bridget shakes her head as she opens the last drawer. It looks like she's about to close it when an arrow drawn at the bottom catches her eye, she furrows her eyebrows as she pulls the draw fully out and dumps the rest of the contents out. Bridget flips it over to reveal a number at the bottom.

"That little shit." She mutters while going to the landline in the kitchen.

Hello Bridget, I wasn't expecting you to ever find this but you were always smarter. If this is an emergency, call Dean because if I'm not here to meet you; something must be up. Take the weapons and information with you when you go and do not turn back. If you get the chance get those tattoos we talked about, take the money in the mattress on the room to the right at the top of the stairs.

Good luck

The line clicks to signal that it was over, Bridget sighs and hangs up the phone as she looks at the number on the counter again. She grumbles under her breath at her desperation while typing the number in again as fast as she could.

We're sorry, the number you are trying to reach is no longer in service.

"Shit." Bridget mumbles as she turns to Alice. "Go upstairs. First room on the right. Cut open the mattress and grab the cash and duffel bags from the closet. Alice, please hurry.

"Why?" Alice demands, already heading up the stairs. "Is something wrong?"

"Just go please." Bridget waves her off as she walks into the closet to pull out the rest of the rifles.

Seven Minutes Later

Bridget loads the last rifle with salt bullets as Alice walks down the stairs with two bags, one sinking with the weight of the cash from the mattress. She doesn't say a word as they both load the bags equally, splitting the money as well.

"Did he say to call Dean?" Alice questions while stuffing cash into Bridget's bag.

"Yup." Bridget shortly replies.

"You aren't going to do it?" Alice demands.

"Of course not." Bridget rolls her eyes.

"Can I have an explanation as to why?" Alice gruffs.

"Do you really need one?" Bridget fires back.

"Yup." She mimics. Bridget rolls her eyes again and zips up her bag.

"We didn't end on good terms." She vaguely explains and Alice groans.

"Isn't that everyone you've come in contact with?" She questions.

"Pretty much, people aren't smart about the things I believe in." Bridget sarcastically replies as she slings her bag over her shoulder.

"Wait! I thought you told Coulson we were going to find Dean!" Alice whines.

"They think I'm dead, okay?!" Bridget shouts, her shoulders tense with the stress that was building up inside. "I went on a hunt alone and 'died'. I contacted their father and a family friend shortly after to tell them that I was alive and that I would help but I asked them not to tell the boys."

"We're calling him." Alice states while taking Bridget's bag. Bridget's eyes widen in fear.

"No." She crosses her arms like a child as Alice forcefully sits Bridget into a chair. She grabs Bridget's burner phone and dials the number that Bridget had always kept on speed dial just because she couldn't let go.

"Dean Winchester." A male voice states into the phone. Bridget purses her lip and turns away from the device.

"Say hello." Alice hisses.

"No." Bridget scoffs.

"Fricken swear-"

"They can kiss my ass." Bridget whispers back in defiance as she sits back with a huff. Alice glares back at her with eyes that looked like they were on fire.

"No way." Sam's voice mumbles in the background.

"Are you trying to get us killed?!" Alice shrieks.

"No! John taught me shit, I know how to protect us!!" Bridget yells while standing up.

"Where the hell are you going?!" Alice yells while carrying the phone with her as Bridget slings the duffel back onto her shoulder.

"Anywhere where the Winchesters aren't." Bridget grumbles while stomping down the stairs.

"What happened between you guys anyways?!" Alice demands. Bridget sighs and stops walking, she turns around to face Alice with a sad yet guarded expression. "Why are you always hiding things from me?!"

"A demon. Like I said, just like the one we're dealing with now." She replies with her eyes narrowing. It was obvious that Bridget was trying to tell Alice to shut the hell up, but they're both interrupted by the older Winchester himself.

"We'll be right there." Dean's voice states over the phone before the line goes dead.

"Son of a bitch!" Bridget hisses as she hands Alice her duffel. "We need to go now."

"Why? What's wrong!?" Alice questions while tossing Bridget her burner phone. Bridget doesn't reply until the two have crossed the street and are safely back in the woods once again.

"If they're coming? We're doomed." Bridget replies as she pushes a branch from her face, Alice's face scrunches in confusion as they break from the trees. "Well, I'm doomed."

"Why?" Alice questions.

"I promised John and Bobby that I'd stay dead." Bridget shakes her head, her stone expression falling away to reveal pure sadness. "This will be too much for them to understand."

"Did you really?" Alice demands as the girls stop on top of a cliff that overlooked a car lot.

"Yeah. I did it to protect them." Bridget mumbles. Alice watches her best friend begin her descent down the mountain, she shakes her head and quickly follows after her.

"What do you mean?" She questions.

"There was someone after me a while ago." Bridget shrugs as she stops to lean against a rock. "We were all just kids."

"Just kids?" Alice raises her eyebrows. "I'm so confused!"

"Let's just say I wasn't in the adoption home without a family my whole life." Bridget shakes her head to try and hide a tear that had escaped.

"What changed?"

"Everything."
