Thirty Seven

One week later...
Saturday

Luna has moved in with the help of the boys and I. She seems to be pretty happy now. She's probably still a bit shaken up by what happened, but at some point hopefully it'll just be like a bad dream.

Prim comes downstairs and sits beside me on the sofa. She leans her head on my shoulder and sighs.

"You okay Hummingbird?" I ask her.

"It's just so stressful. First something happens to Andy and Brook, then something happens to you and the boys, then something happens to Luna!" Prim exclaims with a dramatic sigh.

"Yeah, I know. It is pretty stressful. We can get through it though. We always have, and we always will." I smile down at her.

She nods and flashes me a small smile. Then she hugs me and whispers, "I just don't want to go through that again, if you know what I mean."

I do know what she means. She means what happened with mom and dad. She doesn't want to go through something similar to that. I don't want to either, and I hope I never will, but it's not my place to decide.

"Yeah, I know. I don't want to go through that again either. Hopefully we won't." I say.

We pull away from the hug and sit in a comfortable silence until Luna comes down.

"Hey. I'm going to the boys' flat, you wanna come?" She asks.

Prim and I look at each other before nodding. We all get up and out of the house and start walking.

When we get there we knock on the door and Brooklyn opens it.

"Hello there girls." He greeted cheerfully with a wide grin.

"Hey Brook." I said with a lopsided grin.

He let us in and I instantly walked into the room and saw Andy on his bunk. He didn't notice I was here so I climbed onto his bed and cuddled up to him. He jumped in surprise and laughed.

"Hey love. I didn't know you were coming." He said.

"Yeah, I could tell. You jumped like, ten feet in the air!" I exclaimed.

He shook his head and rolled his eyes. I pouted at him and he smiled and kissed my nose. Then he kissed my lips and lingered there for a bit.

"My eyes! My poor, poor eyes!" Mikey exclaimed when he saw Andy and I whilst he covered his eyes.

"Oh, get used to it you dingus!" I exclaimed.

Prim laughed. "Dingus?!"

"Yep." I smirked.

Andy laughed and shook his head at me. "You're so cute."

"My ears! My poor, innocent ears!" Prim exclaimed whilst covering her ears. Mikey laughed at her reaction.

"Come on Prim! Not you too!" Andy exclaimed with a pout.

"Okay, okay." Prim said.

"Yay!" Andy cheered.

I laughed. "Wow! Never thought my boyfriend and my lil' sister would get along so well." I stated.

"Yeah, well we've proved you wrong." Andy smirked.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Luna! Save me from these weird people!" I yelled.

"They're gonna kill me!" I heard Luna yell back from the kitchen.

I laughed. "They've already killed me!"

"Nooo!" Brooklyn exclaims in a whiny voice.

"Yeees!" I mock him.

He gives me a playful glare followed by a smile and a chuckle.

Brooklyn can never be serious for too long!

Andy smiles at me and pecks my lips. I snuggle into him more and listen to what the boys are talking about as they enter the room.

Hey guys! This is shorter than usual and it's probably sort of boring, but it's a chapter, right? Next time it'll be a bit more entertaining.
