Kabanata 21: Hiroki's Revelation

"HANG in there sweetie!" I plead while carrying her in my arms. "Please." a lone tear fall down into my eyes. I can hear the loud screaming inside the venue but I didn't care about it. All I care is Joana. Fuck! I don't know what to do! There's a lot of blood in Vodjdani's gown.

Damn! Damn! Damn!

"Faster Taka!" Joana's friend commanded me. I can't even tell who was it. Maybe it was Arah or Jhonelly? I don't know. All I know they are following me. "Faster!" Someone shouted again. I wish I can do that. I felt tired and I am shaking, I'm shaking not because I am afraid of gun shots but because my love was in my arms full of blood and I think her gun shot gonna take away my sanity.

As we reach the exit, I search for my car. I scan the whole area but I can't find my car. My vision is blurry because of the tears. God! I never cried this hard all my life. Not until this bullshit happened. My life depends on Joana now. I don't think it will be the same again if she will be lost from me I don't know what I can do. I'll raid hell for those bastard. Fuck! She won't die on me.

No way! That's not gonna happen. Never!

"Don't die on me, sweetheart." I murmured. I was about to shout for assistance when someone grab me.

"In my car." she said. I look at her and recognize her as one of Joana's best friend. The doctor.

"Ilagay mo na siya sa loob bilis!" I move quickly and hold my sweet very carefully. I thought Arah the doctor will man the wheel but I was wrong. Another friend of Joana pop out of nowhere.

We are five in the car including Joana who was still unconcious and bathing with her own blood. Her white night gown becomes bloody red. God! I'm going to kill those fucking bastard once Joana will be okay. I look at Arah the doctor who's sitting in the passenger seat, she looks at me in the rearview mirror as if she was examining me or it was Joana.

I also stare at her then to the driver next to her, asking for explanation. "Don't worry, Alliah is one hell of a racer. She was licensed five years ago. Mas mabilis tayong makakarating sa hospital ko pag siya ang nag drive. She's a pro." she assured me. I nodded and let out a heavy sigh of relief. Alliah the racer just look at me coldly, and I don't know how to react so I shifted my gaze. Then I look at the girl beside me. She was holding a gun! I'm not shock because she was holding a freaking gun. I am shock with a fact that she's a woman with a gun and she is Joana's friend.

"Jhachelle." she said in a calm voice and saluted at me using the gun. I look at Joana in between my arms. I never knew she have these kind of friend, I mean bunch of friends. I thought they are just the same to any other girl out there. Girly stuffs such and that. There's no worried expression written all over their faces. They are all looks calm and relax.

WHAT ARE THEY?

That's the biggest question in my mind right now. And I don't know if I will gain answers.

"Can you drive a little faster please?" I ask with a pleading voice. Alliah looks at me with a smirk on her face.

"We already arrive. Move your ass now!" I was shock. It feels like we move in a light speed or I was just preoccupied I shrugged that thought off and I run as fast as I could in the entrance of the Hospital while carrying Joana in my arms. Arah is clearing the area and commanding every nurses they bump into. She's shouting like someone's going to die! And I don't like it.

"Ready the OR. Now!" Arah shouted again. I follow her, and Jhachelle is following behind me too and Alliah was nowhere to be found. Joana was still bleeding and she's still unconscious. After a minute , bunches of nurses with a stretcher comes rushing into me.
