chapter thirteen : BETRAYAL

I havent heard back from Markus. He said he was going to call me once he got Chris but he hasnt...
Maybe he's just occupied... maybe he's hurt!?
We left my house at like 4:12pm its 8:00pm! Thats basically 4 hours later. It doesnt take 4 whole hours to get Chris. Okay, let me just call him.

*PHONE RINGS OUT*

Okay now im worried. What the fuck is going on....

*CHRIS' PERSPECTIVE*

*flashback*

For fuck sake! Im running and i dont even know where im going. I know Ronny's gonna come looking for me but i have to keep going. I have a new number so he cant get to me. There's no where around me for miles. I cant run that far...

*CALLS MICA 10 TIMES AND DOESNT GET AN ANWSER SO LEAVES A MESSAGE*

"Yo meesh, um, call me back on this number... ite cool."

Half an hour later she calls me back and i tell her and Markus my whereabouts so they can come get me.

As i sit in this dark tunnel, i hear footsteps approaching...
Its Ronny! I try to run but he kicks my ankles making me fall to the ground.

"Where the fuck are you going?"

I sit there in silence.

"I have a way you can avoid all this y'know"

At this time i was desperate. Anything he said that could be a way out, anyone he wanted me to bring him... i would do it.

"Yh! What is it?"

"Its more of a who is it" he says in a devious voice"

"Yh, i dont care! Who is it!"

"Shoot and bring me... Markus!"

"Wait, Markus is my bro. I cant do that to him, he's pratically my brother. He would do anything for me... i cant do th..."

"You can keep running for the rest of your life, and i will find you. Every, single, time! Or you can just bring him to me and i'll forget all about this, you, your family, better yet Mica!"

As soon as he said my family and Mica. I had to do it. I love them both so much. Theres no way i would put them in danger.

"Okay. I'll do it" i mutter

"Have him here at 7"

Present

I just betrayed Markus. My only true friend. My brother. But I cant help but run because if i turn back. Im dead. A matter of fact im already dead.

*RONNY'S PERSPECTIVE*

"Markus? Are you alright"i say as he falls to the ground

He's uncontious and bleeding from his stomach. Blood is just pouring out of his mouth! Exactly what Ricardo wanted.
I lift him up and dash his body in the back of my car trying not to make his blood ruin my grey leather seats and then speed off to Ricardo.

The gates are already open so i just drive in and park the car. Once again i have to drag Markus out the car and into the warehouse. As soon i walk in theres a nurse standing next to Ricardo.

"Bring him here" Ricardo says

I drop his body on to the table as the nurse rushes to him. Ricardo takes hold of my shoulder as we walk away.

"Did the boy run?"

"Yh he bolted!"

"Excellent" he says with a evil smirk

"Ric? What are we doing?"

"Well my boy. All you need to know is someones going to die!"

"Who?"

We're interupted by the nurse.

"I took the bullet out, cleaned the wound and patched it up. Change it every 5 hours so it doesnt get infected and he should be okay." She says

"Thanks Gil, you can go now" Ric says

*MARKUS' PERSPECTIVE*

I wake up to a bright light hanging over my head and excruciating pain coming from my stomach. I look around in confusion to see a dark warehouse and a nurse standing near me.

"I took the bullet out, cleaned the wound, and patched it up. Change the wound every 5 hours so it doesnt get infected and he should be okay" she says

"Thanks Gil, you can go now" a familiar voice says

As soon as she bends down to pick up her bag she whispers to me.

"Boy, i dont know who you are or what the hell you've gotten yourself into, but you need to run! Y'hear me! As soon as you get the chance, run fast and dont look back. Your not safe, no one is"
