"babe what the fuck are you doing" Markus ask me keeping a firm but gentle grip on my arm
"what do you mean? That bitch been getting on my last nerve, talking bout some 'lately I've been with everybody' shit like im a hoe?"
"Mica, you was just about to swing on that girl? You forgetin' your pregnant?"
"Like i would let her beat my ass" i asked getting smart
"Mica you need to calm the fuck down if..."
Just then Jennifer and Laurelle walk out. I stare at Jennifer waiting for her to do something, instead they continue walking to the car. As they're walking Laurelle looks at me and signs that she'll call me later on. I nod my head and storm off to the car with Markus following. Meanwhile im trying to put on my seat belt, i can feel Markus' eyes on me. I glance over to him and we just stare at eachother.
"what nigga?"
"yoooo Mica chill the fuck out with that. If i didnt drag you out there you probably woulda been fighting Jennifer and making yo self look stupid in the process. Your a pregnant woman, not some little ass girl. Yo big 18 year old self that PREGNANT was about to fight, you good?"
As he's speaking, i feel my eyes getting watery.
"Mica, you crying?" he ask resting his hands on my thighs
"yhh" i mumble
"its not cause of you tho, i dont actually know why im crying. I just feel so angry right now. Me and that girl been friends for how long and she was ready to fight me, and im pregnant" i say breaking down
Markus pulls me over to him making me sit on his lap and hugs me tight.
"babe, i know its hard for you being pregnant with mood swings and all that, but you just gotta trust me when i say y'all gon be friends again. You guys have too much history to just fall apart, and do you really think Laurelle's goofy ass wont force you guys to be friends again" he questions meanwhile wiping my tears
"yhh you right" i say smilling
"Dont let me see you about to fight again, pregnant or not okay baby. You too pretty for all that shit"
"okayyy baby, sorry."
"its all good b" he smiles as im going back over to my seat
Markus starts the car and drives off going back home.
20 mins later
When we get outside of the house, i notice my mums cars gone, meaning shes probably got called in for a shift. I search my bags for my keys and open the door. As soon as we get through the door, i drop my bag and go to put my phone on charge. Me and Markus walk into my room and get straight into bed and cuddle. After about 5 minutes my phone turns on and notifications start blowing up my phone. I reach over to check them.
