As i wake up to constant pinging in my ears, i look around to see Markus snoring away beside me. I pick up my phone:

Snapchat: Laurelle❤- hey girl, you good? Havent spoken to you since the argument. Hope you okayy x
Instagram: M.sav wants to follow you
Imessage: hey baby girl, call me? From mum🌍
2 missed calls from Hillview Hospital
"Baby?" Markus says breaking my focus
"Yh" i reply
"I have something to tell you, and its important so can you put your phone down please" he says sitting up
As soon as he says those words, every negative thought involving me and him or Chris races through my mind.
"Whats the matter babe?" i ask intentivley
He stares at me, peircing through my soul anxiously, making me nervous.
"I, um, yesterday... you know when i was at that place"
"What place baby?"
"You know, the place where i was taken..." he said quickly
"Oh yh, sorry"
"The man that held me there was, Ricardo."
"Okayyyyy?" I say questionably
"Ricardo... as in your dad"
I stand there nodding, until i acknowlege what he said.

He pulls me into a hug constantly apologising. I dont hug back, i dont do anything. Instead i stand there, letting him hold me. I couldnt care less about what my dad does in his spare time... but if it consists of hurting me or my friends and family then theres a problem.
"Baby... baby?" Markus says trying to grab my focus
"Yes, sorry"
"Its kl... you good?"
"Nope, but where is he now"
i say in anger
"actually lemme just call the bitch"
I search my pocket for my phone and take it out. Then Markus rests his hand on mine, staring into my eyes:
"Its coool b, just leave it. Your pregnant remember. You cant go all savage on his ass so you needa chill, i'll deal with it" he says kissing my forehead
"Alright baby, but anything you need... just tell me"
"I already got everything i need and i dont wanna loose her" Markus says pulling me in towards him
We start kissing again until my phone rings and its the hopital:
"Hello is this Miss Terashe?" they question
"Yes"
"Im just calling to confirm if you are still coming to your last antenatal appointment today?"
