Silver's POV
Our fighting had continued for what seemed like an hour. I was getting tired and my muscles ached. I was jumping from tree to tree, then suddenly the branch beneath me broke. I tumbled to the ground. I yelped as I landed badly.

I checked for damage
-3 broken ribs
-1 broken arm
-1 dislocated shoulder
-1 fractured knee
-loss of blood
-fatigue

"Nice job, Foxy" I tried to get up and run again, but quickly fell. My knee couldn't take any weight. I couldn't even get up. "Hahaha! Look at the injured animal. Look how it struggles as the predator closes in."

"CAN IT ALREADY."

"No thanks Foxy I prefer to watch you struggle." He jumped on top of me and pinned my arms to the ground. He grabbed my broken arm and twisted it. I screamed in pain. "It's so cute that you thought you could win with these injuries." He grabbed my other arm and stuck his overgrown nail in my muscle. I started to cry. I opened my mouth to scream, but nothing came out.

Watinie pulled his nail down my arm created a deep gash. I felt my nerves split in half and my muscles cut like a butchers knife slicing meat. My black blood escaped everywhere. He laughed as my vision started to fade into a blur. No.....way........I...lost.....

"Victory is mine, Foxy."

Takashie's POV
All of us were silent. We all heard Silver's screams of pain. We all were scared. We all prayed that she was still alive. Then suddenly we heard an animal sniffing from the window.

My father backed up to my corner keeping me, Shugie and my mother protected by an outstretched arm. The sniffing continued then we saw an animal's nose peek threw the window.

Then the animal jumped down into the cellar. My father was about to run at the creature until I stoped him by pulling on his sleeve. This was no wolf. It was a fox. It was going to help us. The fox circled around us then walked over and tilted his head up to the window.

"Follow it.." I squeaked. That's all they needed to all climb out of the window. My mom first then my brother. I picked up the fox and lifted it out of the cellar, then climbed out myself. Then my dad came out. Finally we were out of the cellar...but...we were nowhere near safe. I'll be safe once Silver is back in my arms.

We stepped out of the shade, of our old life, we stepped into the light. Hundreds of beautiful red foxes surrounded us. Protected us. I felt a fox bump my ankle, it was pushing me forward. We are going to safety. While we traveled I felt a hint of hope. A feeling that everything will turn out ok. We followed the foxes leading us into the other side of the forest. We followed them down the path in the forest, under the bright sun.

Suddenly a giant cloud covered the sun. It was dark for a short period. All the foxes cried up to the sky. Then I saw what was stopping the group of foxes. I saw the black bloody scene infront of me. The large tree from Silver's first attack was knocked over. In the clearing near another tree was so much blood.

Is......Silver.....dead......?

Silver's POV
Before losing my consciousness, I was swung over Watinie's shoulder and carried into the forest. I let my blood stain the wolf's white shirt and his black leather jacket. His white jeans were turning black from both of our blood. Then I fell unconscious giving one last small howl when a cloud blocked the sunny sky.

Time skip

I awoke to darkness. The ground was cold and hard. I assumed I was in a unfinished basement. The air was cold and dry. The basement must be rarely used so most likely in an abandoned house. My body hurt all over, I touched my side wound and recoiled in pain. It was sloppily stitched. I swore then tried to move my right dislocated shoulder with my broken arm. It was still immobile and like dead weight. I grabbed my are lifting it, bracing myself by shoving part of my sweaters material in my mouth. I clicked my shoulder back in socket and screamed into the dark blue fabric in my mouth.
