Yes I am continuing book two in the same spot as book one because I'm lazy 😋
"Shinata!" Watinie called as I appeared out of the forest.
"Silver!!" Askie said happily, blush dusting his nose and cheeks. "I'm glad you made it back."
I walked up to them pulling them both into a hug.
"I missed you guys..." tears already dribbling down my face onto their clothing. I sniffed a little bit. And then I hear more sniffles coming from both guys in front of me.
I let out a low whimper and started to sob happily. I was really going to miss hugging my friends...but all good things have to come to an end I guess. But! When I door is closed another one opens!
"Let's go. I have a couple people I wanna see before I die!" I said willing myself to stop crying.
Watinie and Askie simply nodded.
"Who are we going to go see?"
"I have a certain Neko that needs a visit."
"You know a Neko?!" Watinie questioned.
I placed my hand over my heart fake hurting
"I am offended! I have many friends."
"How many?" Askie questioned shyly.
I rubbed my chin thinking.
"Well, there's you two....Saskie...Otone...............and Otone's parents...?"
"Parents don't count. You have 4." Watinie teased.
I puffed out my cheeks and crossed my arms.
"That's still lots Shinata! More then I have!" Askie reassured me.
I smiled lightly back at his attempts. Askie stared testily at Watinie as if telling him to apologize. Watinie shrugged and continued walking. I giggled at their silliness, glad that the three of us are becoming more like a family then friends. Askie and Watinie were like the big brothers I never had being an only child.
"Which way does this Neko live anyways?" Watinie inquired.
"That way" I pointed towards a blurry city building just sticking out of the horizon of trees.
"In the city?!? Guys! Do we really need to go in the city??" Askie went pale at the thought.
"Ya...you don't have to come in, if you don't want to" I said trying to reassure him.
"N-no! I want to come.....I just...have never been in a city before..."
"Don't worry Askie my ginormous friend!" Watinie stated pulling Askies antlers under his arm. Askie dropped one of his knees so that he was at the right level. "The city is wonderful!" He gestured to the singular building. "It's not that big."
Askie nodded with determination in his eyes as we started through the woods again.
As we neared, one building become two, then 5, then 25 then more buildings then I was willing to count.
Askies face turned as white as snow as he stood at the foot of a cement road.
"I CANNOT DO THIS!!" He whisper yelled.
"What! Buddy come on! This is one of the smallest towns I've ever been too! It's not that big." Watinie cooed teasingly.
"Not helping!" I growled "Askie..? You really don't have to come ok..? How about you just stay right here. And I promise we won't be long!" I said reaching up and patting him on the back.
