Takashie's POV

I reached over to my bedside table grabbed another beer. How many have I had? I forget

It's not too many though. I don't think...

I threw my myself off of the bed struggling to stand and landing back on the mattress. On the third try I finally stood up. I traveled down around my huge empty room. Reminding myself of my empty heart. All the happiness in my life died when I left Shinata.

....I'm such an idiot...

I tilted the new bottle to my mouth chugging it in one go. Then passing out prominently on the floor.

Silver's POV

"I'm not getting inside."

"Awww~! Why not~~" Watinie teased.

"Watinie! W-we s-s-shouldn't push her a-around in the s-s-s-shopping cart!!"

Watinie yanked me up in the air like a child and stuck me in the front of the metal shopping cart that we stumbled across in the forest. Watinie jumped in as well which confused me. What was he up too?

He put his legs around me then held onto my shoulders.

"Your too light. You'll fly up into the air without some sort of seatbelt." I turned around to see the lone wolf's ears pulled to the side shyly and his face turning red.

"Pfff"

"hEY! Don't laugh at me!"

"Welp I-I-I don't l-like it, but I-I-I-I guess I'm pushing..!" Askie interjected while stepping up to the back of the cart.

He started off slowly then gained speed. I saw the trees fly past us as Askie sprinted through the forest path. Hitting multiple rocks, but I had Watinie to make sure I didn't fly out of the cart.

A bright orange light shined at the opening of the forest. The trees that were closing us off opened up engulfing us in the dawn morning light. The sun shot rays of hope into my heart.

Maybe I can enjoy my last bit of time alone. I constantly was over thinking about the Spirit Keepers coming to execute me, that I forgot how to truly live.

My silver hair wiped around in the wind, while I dangled my limp legs on the rocky cliff ledge. Once we ran out of grass to ride through, we stopped our childish fun to eat something. Watinie went out to hunt something while Askie started a fire.

"S-s-shinata...?"

"Ya?"

"...aren't you hot..? In that big sweater...?"

"Well I can't deny that."

"Aren't you....g-g-g-going to t-t-take it off...then...?"

"....no..."

"S-Shinata?"

"......I can't......you'll see....."

"S-s-s-s-see What..??"

"..."

He looked concerned at me but I refused to look back into his eyes.

"Do you remember what I first said to you when we met...?"

Askie's POV

Did I remember? All I recall is her needed emergency treatment.

"But don't you remember why she was hurt."

"Kala?" I said through my mind.

"Don't you remember her excuse?" The giant doe stated calmly with authority. Almost motherly.

"She....said that....hmm"

"She said that she tried to kill herself. But the monster inside that poor girl would let her. However glad that you and Watinie must be about that...now why don't you try and understand how Shinata feels."

"....how she feels...?.....she should be happy...to be alive....."

"And live with something in her brain that is killing her mentally?"

".....she must be so sad....."

"Indeed."

"B-b-but what can I do about it?!"

"You can be her friend. It's up to you how to do that."

Kala stoped talking pulling me back into reality like no time had passed at all.

"I...I remember...."

"......I....-"

"Take your time. I'm here as your friend Shinata. You don't have to explain anything....just know that I'm always here if you need to talk." I surprised myself by not stuttering once.

"....thank you...." she said with tears running down her face and a big toothy grin.

"ALRIGHT! Who's ready for some fresh from the forest rabbit!" Watinie called carrying 3 dead rabbits by their feet.

"E-E-E-E........YUCK" I spat being too surprise to pronounce ew.

Silver giggled from the ledge making my face flush with even more embarrassment.

Silver's POV

Watinie continued to tease Askie with the dead rabbit before putting them over the open fire. Not that I personally cared that breakfast would be delayed or that breakfast was more rabbits that I don't believe I deserve to eat. I'm just contented with the fact that I have made two wonderful friends that truly care about me...and that don't push me to talk about anything.

Askie's speech brought me to tears of joy. I was so happy that..I didn't have to push myself to explain my life story.

The rabbit meat was a little dry because Watinie over cooked it quite a bit. However, it was nice to get something into my system. I don't recall the last time I ate, and being the animal I am, I was starving.

"Yes Shinata! Eat! We need to fatten you up so that you don't fly away from being so light!!" Watinie joked making all of us laugh uncontrollably.

These guys are way to good too me.

Takashie's POV

I woke up with a head pounding hangover.

"Takashie? Can I come in?" My older brother called loudly from outside the door.

My migraine pounded with each word. I grabbed one of the empty beer bottles by my side table and chucked it at my locked room door.

"GO AWAY!" I screamed at him. Completely unaware of his anger and worry starting to grow. Or that he was starting to hatch a plan to help me.

Hoho! What will this mysterious plan be!! Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z!!!!
