Tutor for Aaliyah Mendes

All alone?

It's Friday, and that means everyone in the school is going to Alex's lake house while I'm babysitting Aaliyah.

I got up, got ready and headed to school. Shawn caught up to me while I was walking to class, " Sky! Wait up, are you really not going to     Alex's party tonight?"
I rolled my eyes, " Shawn, I'm going to babysit Aaliyah."
He bit his lip, " I really appreciate you standing up for me in-front of my parent, but if you ever need help with Aaliyah this weekend, you can always call me."
I smiled, " thanks Shawn, but I think I will be alright. Please don't get hurt or into any trouble."
He said jokingly, " awww do you care about me?"
I said as I was waking to class, " I don't, but your parents will kill you if you do, and I don't want to experience that."
He laughed and walked to class.

Shawn's POV: she said to be careful. I never really thought that she liked me, but damn she so pretty, smart and she can make you laugh sometimes. I really wish she was coming this weekend.

Skylar's POV
The whole school went normal. All my morning classes, then lunch and now picking up Aaliyah. I walked over to the school playground where Aaliyah was running around.
" Aaliyah! Hi, how was school today?" I grabbed her backpack and we started to walk to my house.

While we were waking to my house she told me all about her day, " all my classes were really fun. In math we played a math game with counting in 12's then in social studies he told us all about Toronto's history and guess what... I have no homework this weekend!"
I laughed, " that's great! Me either."

We finally got to my house. While Aaliyah was watching some YouTube videos, I was packing up my stuff for the weekend at the Mendes's. While I was upstairs and Aaliyah yelled, " Sky? Can I come upstairs?" I shouted back, " sure"

Aaliyah came upstairs and jumped on my bed, " wow Skylar your room is beautiful, and you have so many trophies and Instruments!"
While I was in my closet I said, " haha yea. I used to play hockey and volleyball in middle school, and my mom always wanted me to play the guitar."
She looked shocked, " you play hockey?"
" yes, and I can't wait for tonight. Are you ready to watch the Toronto maple leafs play off game tonight?"
She chuckled, " yes!"
I got the rest of u stuff together and we headed to Shawn's.
I walked into the house surprised, Mr. and Mrs. Mendes did not leave yet and Shawn was siting at the kitchen table.
" hello mrs and mr Mendes. When do you guys leave for the airport?"
Manny stepped in, " we should be leaving in the next 5 mins"
Karen butted in, " yes, but I just wanted to tell you that I left some money for groceries and dinner. Then I baked a chicken pot pie for dinner tonight you guy have to put it in the oven for 450 for 20 mins. Also we here are some rules for Aaliyah, bedtime is at 930, she can't be outside when it's dark, she can't have too much candy/ sugar."
I smiled, " okay got it, and thank you."
She smiled, " no thank you" she kissed Aaliyah and Shawn goodbye and she and Manny left.

I turned on some tv for Aaliyah and I walked over to Shawn, " when are you leaving?"
He put his hand over his heart, " that's so mean, you can't wait for me to leave can you?"
I put my hand on the counter, " no I can't."
He rolled his eyes, " Matt should be here in 5 and then I will be gone for the rest of the weekend."
I smiled, " yay."
The next thing I knew, Shawn and I heard the door bell. He laughed, " I guess Matt is here early." He grabbed his backpack and was heading out.
" Shawn wait, please stay out of trouble and stay away from those horrible and ugly girls"
He bit his lip, " hey maybe if you were coming you could stop me" he said jokingly. When he left I walked over to Aaliyah, " so, what do you want to do now?"
