Treat you better

I woke up really late, both Shawn and I did.
Knock
Knock
" sweetie get up, it's past 11." Karen said.
Shawn and I wiped our eyes and started each other
" O- okay mom, be out in a second." He stuttered.
I jumped up and left his room.
Shawn and I both went down to get breakfast.
After I ate, I took a shower and tried doing some my homework, but Dallas and my mom kept calling.

My mom is fine, she will be home late tomorrow night.
And for Dallas, he wants to take me out. Poop.
After I did my math and french homework, I straighten my hair and made my self a sandwich.

I started watching this new show,  Teen Wolf. It's really good, but Shawn hates it. He says The Vampire Diaries is way better.
TVD is really good, but I'm almost done with it, and werewolves are kinda cute.

Around 6, Shawn came and got me.
" hey Sky. My parents left with Aaliyah to go to the store, but dinner is already."
" coming!" I yelled back.

Shawn and I sat in awkward silence while eating.
When I was washing the dishes Shawn asked me about the show I was watching
" so, how's that wolf show?"
I laughed, " it's absolutely great. Why do you care? I thought you hated it."
He leaned against the counter top, " you seem like you really like it, so maybe I'll give it a try."
I smiled, " I have to go read."
I went up stairs, sat on my bed and read my book.

Around an hour later...
Knock
Knock
" hey Sky, you got a second?" I head Shawn's voice.
I put my book down, " yeah. Come in."
He opened the door and came in with a rose in his hand, and a guitar around his stomach.

He handed me the floor and started singing Treat You Better.
" why are you wasting time, on your wasting crying when you should be with me instead? I know I can treat you better, better then he can!"

I know he did not write Treat you Better until late in his career, but it seemed fitting for right now.
After he sang, he put his hands around my waist, " I wrote that song, for you Sky."
There was nothing I wanted to do more then kiss him right there and then.
" it's amazing Shawn. It's beautiful." I was speech less.
He whispered in my ear, " I can treat you better then Dallas. Let me show you."
I put my hands on his shoulder and we kissed.

When we kissed it felt like the world had stop. It felt like there were fire works going off. It felt like I was in paradise, and I was safe!

We broke from the kiss.
" I have Teen Wolf all set up down stairs if you wanna watch it." Shawn said.
I could not help but laugh. I nodded my head and we went down stairs.

We watched two episodes and it felt like the best two episodes ever, because Shawn was there with me.

When Manny and Karen came home, they saw us on the couch. They asked what we were doing, and Shawn told them nothing but the truth.

When they came home it was very awkward, so I just went to bed.
