1st Day With Him

~ Friday~
My mom already left for New York early this morning.
I got up, got dressed, and ate breakfast.
While I was eating I kept getting texts from Dallas.
From Dallas: you wanna hang out tonight.
To Dallas: I don't know
From Dallas: oh come on. Please. It will be fun.
To Dallas: okay fine. I'll ask.
From Dallas: cool. See you in a little
I walked to school and Shawn kept trying to talk with me.
" so I hear your spending a couple days with us."
I nodded my head.
" cool. You know maybe we can... we can hang out."
" yeah." I walked off to class.

I was on my way to pick up Aaliyah and some came up from behind me and gave me a hug.
" Shawn?" I asked
" Nope. Dallas" he laughed.
" why did you guess Shawn."
I guess because he known for doing sweet and goofy things like that. I did not tell that to Dallas.
" because I'm with his sister."
He smiled at Aaliyah.
" hi Shawn's sister."
She laughed.
" my name is Aaliyah."
I butted in, " so Dallas, what are you doing here?"
" I was wondering if I could walk with you guys. My house is only 2 blocks away from yours."
" sure. So about tonight."
" yeah, I have to help my mom, but I can hang out around 7."
" great, but we're not going to my house. I will with Shawn."
He stopped walking, " what! What do you mean?"
" well my mom is away for a couple days, so Shawn's mom is watching me."
" maybe I can talk with her and see if I can come."
" don't worry, I will ask her. Thank you though."

I was at my house packing, while Aaliyah was eating a snack.
Packed-
• toothbrush/ toothpaste
•hairbrush
• 3 t-shirts
• 2 leggings/ 1 pair of sweatpants
• pj's
Etc
Aaliyah and walked over to her house. While we walked in I saw Mrs. Mendes cleaning up.
" hi Aaliyah! Hello Skylar."
Aaliyah ran up and hugged her mom.
" hello Mrs. Mendes. Whenever you get a chance, may I speak with you?"
She said yes and we went into the family room.
" so, Shawn and I have this friend- Dallas, and I was wondering if he could come over tonight, to hang out with me."
" what time is he coming over?"
" 7pm"
" that's fine, but make sure he's not here no later then 11."
" no problem. Thank you Karen!"
She smiled, " is this a guy friend or a boyfriend."
" to tell you the truth. I don't know. He is so sweet, nice and outgoing and handsome, but I like someone else is so much more then that."
She stood up, " Sky, let your heart decide, it always works out, and this Dallas guys seems nice. He's going to be here in about 30 mins. I'm going to order an pizza."
Before she walked off, " where's Shawn?"
" he's out with Manny for a little."

" I got it" I said
" hey Dallas." I invited him in. He had pink flowers in his hands.
Mrs. Mendes walked in.
" hello, you must be Dallas."
He hugged her. " and you must be Mrs. Mendes." He handed her the flowers.
" this are quite beautiful. I'm going to go put these is water. You guys can take a seat anywhere."
I walked him into the kitchen.
" they have a really beautiful house." He said nicely.
" yeah, it's quite lovely."
Ding Dong
" excuse Dallas."
It was the pizza guy.
" Karen the pizza is here!"
Aaliyah came running in, " Hey your the guy, who walked us home. You keep getting cuter and cuter." She smiled.
" Aaliyah!"
She laughed, " what I know your thinking it too Sky!"
Karen started to Laughed.
I was blushing and Dallas noticed.
Everyone got pizza and Dallas and I sat down, and watched a movie.. " the Outsiders."
After the movie, I asked Dallas if he wanted to go to the bedroom I'm using.
We walked up the stairs.
" sorry about Aaliyah, and thanks for being so cool about Mrs. Mendes."
" anything for you. And Aaliyah is super cute, but your cuter."
I laughed, " your full of dumb pick up lines."
He laughed and moved closer to me.
" is it alright if I kiss you?" He said softly.
I could not help it smile.
We were moving into each other and I could hear Dallas breath.

Knock.
I backed away. " come in."
" hey Sky do you need anything right-" Shawn looked up from his phone.
" oh sorry I did not know you guys were in here." He said.
" umm. I was just getting ready to go. Thank you Sky for a wonderful night. I will see you later."
I walked him down stairs and locked the door.
When I turned around I saw Shawn standing in front of me.
" golly Shawn, don't scary me like that."
He laughed, " but your cute when your scared."
I walked past him, " thanks."
" wait, why does Dallas call you Sky?"
" Shawn, everyone calls me Sky."
" can it just be our family nickname for you. My family and your mom."
" good night Shawn." I walked up to my room and went to bed.
