Ill be Devastated

The night fell and it was raining. I love thunder/ lighting storms. They are the best. They are interesting and if you close your eyes and just listen to them, it's like your in another time and place.

It was late and I could not sleep at all. The house was hot, so I had some sweatpants on and a t-shirt.

Around 1am I realised that I was not going to get any sleep, so I sneaked down stairs, to the front door, and went outside.

I was standing in the door way watching the rain fall down on the drive way and I was listening to the thunder. It was peaceful.

I don't know what I was thinking, or if I was thinking at all but I made my way to the middle of the road.

I was just standing there having rain fall on me.

" What the hell are you doing out here!" Shawn yelled while putting his jacket over me.

" do you know how dangerous it is out here In the middle of the night?" Shawn kept asking questions.

I had tears in my eyes, " Shawn I can't take it anymore! Everyone that I have loved has died!"

" Sky-sky it-" Shawn did not know what to say.
" my mom died, my young brother died from a car crash with my dad when I was 3. My dad left, and I have not seen him in 8 years."

I added, " I just can't take it anymore Shawn."
I fell Into his arms.
He brushed down my long, wet hair, " it's okay Sky. It will all go away sooner then later."

" and what happened if it doesn't?"
Shawn smiled, " trust me it will."
I finally told Shawn, " Shawn I love you. Your the only thing keeping me together right now, but this town is the one thing reminding me of my love ones, and I can't take it anymore."

Shawn started crying, " don't do anything stupid Sky. Please don't."

I was serous, " why not Shawn. I could take away all my pain right now! Tell me one good reason why I should not!" I screamed.

Shawn broke, " because Sky! You may not care what happens to you, or if you get hurt, but do you know what I would do? I would go out of my freaking mind! And if something happens to you I would be devastated, because I love you Sky!"

I hugged him as tightly as I could, " and I love you, Shawn Peter Raul Mendes!" We stood their kissing in the poring rain.
