I ran from door to door and have found that she was nowhere and my only option was to go up to the rooftop.

I went up a few flights of stairs. I began panting like a dog and then I saw two doors and kicked them open with all the strength I thought I never had. I look up at the sky, feeling rain dripping onto my head.

I look forward and see Marinette, holding the railing.

Our distance was far, yet I felt as if she was crying. I felt her weeping.

As I begin to walk, I saw that she started to turn around to look at me and I instantly stopped walking.

"Adrien?"

This reminds me of something else, like the fireworks night but even more than that.. For some reason, this reminds me of when I saw Ladybug at the balcony, crying.

I try to force a smile, "hi!" I wave my hand but put it back down, realizing that she had not replied.

I walk over to her but stop, walking to her and she started to walk to me. She was close to me but.. Not close enough.

I look away, feeling ashamed that I hadn't helped her when she was getting pushed around by Lila. I feel her hand holding mine and I instantly looked at her.

She drops my hand and also her head, I could see that she was blushing, her cheeks were forming a red color - is she embarrassed?

"Hey, hey! Don't be embarrassed!" I place my hands on her shoulders.

Within that second, she raises her head and looks so alarmed. I felt like I wanted to hit myself, instead of making the situation any better, I make it worse. I take my hands off her shoulders and say whilst shaking my head, "what I meant to say was.."

I look down then at her, trying to pick up the confidence I accidentally dropped and I say, "I'm really sorry, I.. I should have helped you when.. When Lila thee you on the floor."

Marinette shook her head as if she was disagreeing with me hut no words came from her mouth.

"Marinette, I don't blame you if you don't forgive me. It was my fault."

"What?" She asks. "Adrien.. No!"

I look at her much carefully, "what?"

"It's fine.." She says whilst fidgeting with her fingers. "I'm fine. Just fine."

"Marinette, I can tell you're not!"

"Well I am."

"No, you are not!" I say, about to yell.

"YES I AM!"

She realizes that she had just yelled and covers her mouth in embarrassment with red cheeks.

She puts her hands down, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled."

I look around, trying to think of ways to make it up for her. Then I look at her and smirk.

"Marinette, I have a way to make it up to you."

Her faces was filled with questions, questions that only I could see and only I could answer.
