My heart began to beat bit by bit. Is he going to say something scary? But if he did want to say something scary wouldn't cry rather than smile?
"Marinette."
"Uh.."
"I.. Really.."
My heart froze the minute I look up to see a very and extremely huge eagle looking bird.
"Yeah.. Adrien.. This can wait!" I yell whilst pinching him to look up.
The shadowy figure was soaring over us and went down to the school. I turn to look at Adrien.
"Adrien!"
"What.. What was that thing?"
"I think.. I think it was Hawkmoth!" I say whilst breathing heavily.
He smiles and says in a reassuring voice, "it's okay, Ladybug and Cat Noir will be here to save the day."
"You mean only Cat Noir." I mumble under my breath.
"What did you say?"- he must have heard me.
I shake my head, "nothing! You're right, they will save the day."
"Marinette, you should go hide! I'll tell the school about this!" Adrien says.
"But.." I stammer but he nods and runs off to go down and inform everyone.
I wish I had Tikki still.. How will I transform? Who will help me now?
I look down, feeling the urge to cry, I look back up waiting for ideas to knock right against my head.
