We hold the staff tightly.
I look up at the sky, it was a deep red and pink color. The clouds were dipped in a dark blue and pink color.
I look forward.
Adrien, I love you.
"I love you too."
I feel my heart pounce out of my chest and I instantly look at Adrien. Did.. Did I say that out loud?
"Adrien?"
He looks at me and smiles. "I love you Marinette, with or without the mask."
I turn to look forward at Hawkmoth. "You will never succeed, you hear me!"
"And what.. Will you stop me?"
"Yes, Ladybug and Cat Noir!"
We got ready and we flew towards Hawkmoth and he began flying towards us.
I suddenly remember something:
The dream of me and Adrien, the balcony of where Cat Noir hugged me, the fireworks night with Adrien, the ball, the dance on the rooftop with Adrien and now, the 'I love you' from him.
I don't want to let go of you all. I don't want to let go of the people.. Who made me who I am today. I won't let this happen!
I push Adrien hard from the side, making him fall.
"Marinette! No!!"
I grab the staff and close my eyes and lean in with all the force and magic I use it to demolish the cause and the reason for the evil in Paris.
A tear forms in my eye and rolls down my cheek.
