You and Sadie had been best friends since you were really young and since you were 12 everyone had joked about the two of you being soulmates because both of you had fiery red hair.
You walked into school with Sadie as you do everyday expect this time was different. Over the weekend the two of you had admitted your feelings for each other but didn't want to tell anyone because they would carry on making jokes.
"You ready Sadie?"
"Yup, ready for the red head soulmate jokes" she laughed.
You walked in and were greeted by Finn jumping by the door.
"What are you doing?"
"Jumping"
"No shit" you mumbled.
"Sooooo, how was the weekend redheads" he asked.
"Good" Sadie grinned.
You pushed her lightly to tell her to stop smiling so much.
"You know I heard you talking outside, I'm not gonna tell anyone" he added.
"Thanks Finn" you hugged him.

You sat at lunch with everyone, secretly holding Sadie's hand under the table.
"What's happening after school?" Caleb asked.
"Um we're going on a d- detailed study session" Sadie said but you squeezed her hand to tell her to not say what she was about to.
"What?" Noah questioned.
"We're s-studying" She said
"No, no, what were you about to say?"
"Just say it, we can't go back now" you sighed.
"We're going on a date" she mumbled.
"Really?!"
"Yeah"
"Oh my god! Yes! The ship!" Noah shouted.
