Sorry for any mistakes I kind of rushed this.
You and your mum along with your siblings decided to go on a trip to visit your family since you moved away last year.
"You guys ready?" Your mum asked
"Yep" you said.

You were going along a pretty dead road when a car came up the same side right at you.
Without thinking you put your legs across your siblings to stop them flying forward and let out a yell in pain when you felt the car hit yours, making you twist in an inhuman way.
"Fuck"
"You guys okay?" You asked your younger siblings.
They nodded and you handed your phone to your brother who was older than the other.
"Get out of the car and call an ambulance and police. Stay away from the car okay? I don't know what will happen. Take your sister with you" you explained.
He nodded, still shaken up.
Once they got out of the car you learn forward and saw the glass shattered and your mum passed out.
"Mum" you cried.
"Wake up"
You managed to ignore the pain and climb out, opening up the drivers side door and pulling out her limp body.
Once you had pulled her away from the car and to where your siblings were, you sat down, not wanting anyone to see you in pain.

I was asleep when I got a call from an unknown number, but I picked up straight away knowing my girlfriend was going on a trip and she might be calling from a different phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello, is this Sadie?" A male voice asked.
"Yes who is this?"
"I'm a doctor, I work in ____ hospital, earlier today Y/f/N and her family were in an accident, her siblings explained that she put her life in danger to protect them this is the reason she's in a bad state. We would appreciate that you would come down to the hospital as you are her emergency contact"
"I'll be there as soon as I can"
The call ended and I got dressed in sweatpants and a hoodie.
"Dad! We need to get to ___ hospital, Y/N was in an accident and she's not doing good! Please take me there" I cried.
He grabbed his keys and we started driving.

I arrived and told them who I was. They said that I had to wait while she was in surgery but pointed to her siblings who were sat in the waiting area scared.
"Sadie!" Her little sister screamed and hugged me.
"Hey, are you okay?" I said as I lifted her up.
"We're Okay, Y/N made sure we were" her brother smiled proud of his big sister.
"How's your mum?"
"I don't know, they took her in an ambulance quickly, we haven't heard anything"
I nodded and sat down.

After waiting for a couple hours we heard Y/N's name be called so I put down a sleeping Y/S/N and went to the nurse.
"She's awake and she seems to be okay, she has a few broken bones, especially her leg but she should be okay. We're surprised that she was able to help her mother as much as she did but I'm afraid she passed during surgery. We didn't want to tell her the news before you had an idea"
"Can I see her?"
"Yes room 203"
I went back to her siblings and picked up her sister and told her brother to follow me.
"You guys are going to stay with me okay? Your mother is up in a better place, I'm sorry"
I didn't know how to put it but I knew that I had to tell them. Her brother cried and so did her sister as she woke up part way but I just comforted them as much as possible as we walked.
We got to the room and walked in, her brother ran up to her and hugged her tight.
"Mum is up in a better place, I'm sorry Y/N! You helped us and helped her a lot, don't feel guilty" he cried.
Her sister jumped down from me and climbed into the hospital bed with her.
"Hey Sadie?"
"Yeah"
I walked over and held her hand, rubbing it softly to calm her down.
"Don't leave us, we only have our grandparents that live about 6 hours away"
"I won't leave you, don't worry, you can stay with me, we have extra rooms"
She leaned over and placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Thank you, I love you"
"Love you too"
