Ever since you were young you noticed random writing would appear on your skin, when you asked your mum she said that it was your soulmate and what they were writing.
You were extremely close with her but when you turned 10 she passed away, your father became abusive and the rest of your family turned away from it all. Since then you have been dealing with depression. You would draw neat, straight lines on your arms and legs with a blade hoping to relieve some of the mental pain, which it did but only for short amounts of time.
Whenever you did this you drew beautiful drawings on your skin, full of spirals, flowers and anything else that came to mind.
You were invited to a ball because you were well known around the area so you had to buy a dress, you went with a gorgeous red dress that complimented your skin. The night before you went through your arm that was covered in scars and drew an amazing tapestry of random shapes and added slight color in places.

You arrived at the ball and people looked at you in awe. You were loved around here despite your past and the lies that some people told. You designed tattoos for many people who loved the unique style and were paid for it because most of the artists knew about everything.
When you arrived your skin tingled.
'Maybe I will find you tonight, we have matching drawings :)'
You smiled and walked down the steps, maybe you would find them.. whoever they were. You weren't even sure of their gender, who knows maybe it's a guy despite liking girl.
'I hope to meet you -m'
And that was that, the only way you would find them is by looking at peoples arms to see their drawings but who knows, maybe some people here and my tattoo designs and you would mistake them.
You walked up to the drinks and asked for a water. You were still too young to drink.
"Your drawings are beautiful, there's someone over there with the same ones *gasp* maybe that's your soulmate!" The bartender squealed despite having an extremely deep voice.
You chuckled and showed them the writing on your arm.
"Oh my gosh! Maybe I did see them! Stay here I'll find them" he jumped up and ran off into some random direction.

After a while he came back with a girl around your age who had a beautiful two piece ball gown, she had brown hair with a small nose and brown eyes, she was around 5'2 (she's actually 5'1 I think) and was honestly beautiful. But most importantly she had the exact drawings as you and the neat hand writing on the opposite arm. Your soulmate.
"Hi I'm Millie" she smiled and held her hand for you to shake.
"I'm Y/N and the drawer of your arm art apparently" you chuckled and noticed the guy from earlier was gone.
"Well I guess I finally found you, let's go talk somewhere" she smiled and held your hand, leading you to an empty table.

"So you draw all over your body to hide scars" she asked cautious not to upset you.
"Yes, my mother died when I was young, my father became abusive which is the reason for some of my scars but I also harmed myself.. which I don't do anymore" I smiled and she hugged me.
"You are really an amazing person"
She stared into my eyes and leaned in, kissing me softly, but passionately. Cheers were heard all around but they were drowned out, you smiled into the kiss.
You finally found your happiness.
