Through The Dark

In a dark room, we're there.
The moon's light peeking from the window.
Two of us hugging each other.
Smiles on our lips feeling the heat.

The tears faded.
The pain shaded.
We're both broken.
Mistakes and problems we've caused.

Discussing what we've done.
Enjoying how we are.
You took my rants about him and the gal.
You silently listened as your hands travelled to my arms then shoulders.

Brushing my frustration off.
It made me calm.

Your presence saved me.
Thy words comforted me.

Illegal.
'Twas they told us.
We shouldn't be together.

You're his friend.
And from that, this feelings should end.

What can I do?
I told you I easily gets attach.

Through the dark,
there we are.
Breathing hard.
Letting our frustrations out.

Our business at its best.
Tomorrow's gonna be another day.
Tomorrow, you're another stranger.
Stranger that I met from the part where we shed our problems out.
Stranger that I once had.

Silently saying "this was a dream.",
opening my eyes,
it is.
