Zephyr's Point of View
****************************
I dodge and swat under branches as I here the shoutings behind me inch closer.
"He's getting away!," a voice shouts out commands, "We need him alive so don't shoot. If he attacks, use the tasers and darts!"
I pump my legs faster and faster trying to lose the men but they just keep gaining. My legs are aching from running but I have to keep running, I have to keep going, the others will be here soon.
I make a hard right and in two seconds flat, I'm hanging upside down in a trap that I set up myself. "Oh come on!" I shout trying to get myself loose, then hear the death curdling voice of a person I hate with all my gut.
"Oh no," the distrbingly monotone voice said, "Did you get stuck in a trap?"
I float around until my eyes lock with a girl about my age with black, fathomed hair. I glare at her and she keeps talking.
"What happened to you deary," she asks making a frowny face,"Did someone get caught in a trap?" She chuckles darkly at her joke and carries on, "If you don't mind, we will be locating you to a better place where you will be happy and safe."
"Ya, well that's what you said before, and look where we are now?" I spat out, making her frown and signal something with her hand.
I wait for a dart to lodge itself in my leg but instead, nothing happens. "Where's your little army mosquito, did they finally realize how awful a leader you are?" I ask coldly, expecting her to frown deeper but instead, she smiles and glances down at my torso. I glance down and start to sweat at the sight of thousands of green lasers resting on my chest.
"Now," she continues, "if I were you, I would shut your mouth and let us do what we came here to do."
"Um, well, there's a bit of a problem when it comes to that statement," I argue, "You're not me." Just then the wind starts to pick up. She tries to grab hold of something but it's already blowing her away. She lands with a thud a couple dozen feet away and signals some hand motion that, to my guess means attack.
I use the wind to blow myself up onto the branch that I'm dangling from, and cut my leg free. Out the corner of my eye I see a group of men stampeding towards me but with a sweep of my hand, there all laying on the ground. Then the noise I wish I hadn't heard strikes my ears.
NO, NO, NO! I shout in my head, The portal wasn't suppose to open til sunset!
I huff, and with a push of my hands I'm blasting through the sky, flying towards the deadly hole in the sky.
As I reach the thing resembling a black hole, I land and dive into a hide out made for extra precautions.
Right when I get into position, three little figures pop out of the black hole and start plummeting to their death. I wait for the best moment and create a huge upward gust of wind to slow their fall. When they successfully land softly on the ground, I climb out of my hide out and go introduce myself to the new elementalists.
