The Time Master-A Ninjago Fanfiction

Throughout the Storm

It was a dark a stormy night.

Even though it was only 5:00pm, it looked as if it was 11:30pm. Thunder and lightning boomed within the sky, and rain poured down hard. Wind speeds felt like as they picked up every minute. The ninja had just saved Ninjago city once again, and now they were running back. Out first came a brunette ninja with brown, spiky hair, though in the rain, his bangs went down his face and his spikes sat flat on his head, making his hair look longer. Kai's feet sloshed within the rain as his younger sister Nya, her black hair now drained down her face ran behind her brother.

(Crystal's POV)

I ran as fast as I could, next to Cole, who's long black hair dripped down his face, and his bangs looked as if they were about to cover his eyes. "We need to hurry!", screamed Jay, who's hair looked at if it was floating. Everyone ran really quickly.

I sloshed in the muddy water and ran as fast as I could without trying to make myself fall. Then, Kai, who was in front of me, slipped and fell face first into the mud. Jay cracked up, and Kai looked up, his face covered in mud.

"Ha ha ha, very funny.", Kai said, sarcastically. Max O'Kleefe, our new teammate, joined recently, just stood there with his backpack. He made a weird sucking sound with his teeth. I turned and made a glaring face away from him. "Let's go!", said Lloyd. "We need to get back to the Bounty.". Lloyd took the lead and everyone followed him. The thunder got louder, then Max sand "Thunder" really loudly. "Max, this really isn't the time.", I said, quite annoyed.

Max ignored me and sang even louder.

I turned to Zane and saw him stop running and just stand there.

"Zane...", I asked slowly.

Zane twitched a couple times and fell to the ground.

"ZANE!!!", I screamed loudly, going to the ground. "Zane, turn back on, wake up please!", I said. "What happened?", Kai asked. "Zane..he's..", I started.

"Is he ok?", Nya asked. "Yeah, he's fine.", Jay said. "Phew, it must have been all the rain that knocked his wires out, good thing it wasn't his main wires, otherwise Zane would have been gone.". "Oh, well...we can fix him...right?", Lloyd said, sounding worried. "Of course, it's a quick fix.", Jay said. "But who's gonna carry him?". "My suitcase will!", Max said, walking up. "My water-proof suitcase is an invention I created!". Jay shrugged, and carried Zane into the human-sized pocket. Max closed the suitcase, and he tried to look cool.

"Strategy, amirite?", Max said, putting his hand up, waiting for a high-five.

Everyone just stared at him, especially at me.

Max is really dumb at times.

"Nobody?", Max said, sounding disappointed, finally putting his hand down. "Whatever.".

Everyone ran as fast as they could, and Max was dragging his "water-proof suitcase" which was actually made out of glass.

Not a good idea to make a suitcase out of glass, Max.

It's a safety hazard.

Anyway, it continued to rain hard the wind got stronger and it got harder to run quickly, since the wind was blowing in our face. Then suddenly, I heard something crack above me, and as soon as I looked up, it was a branch from the tree above me. I couldn't move in time, and the tree fell on top of me, and I passed out from being so scared.

(Cole's POV)

I heard a crack and a crash behind me, and I turned around to see Crystal out on the ground. Instant worried-ness went onto my face as I ran over. "Crystal!!", I called, shaking her, she seemed lifeless, I thought she was dead. The rain dripping on my face mixed up with the tears raining from my eyes. "Guys!", I shouted. Everyone ran over to me (except for Zane, of course, who was shut off in Max's glass case.) and saw Crystal on the ground.

I used my super strength to lift the branch off of Crystal. "Is she alive?", Max asked. "Yes, I can feel a pulse.", Nya said.

"I never thought I had to do this..", I said to himself, then turned around. "Kai, my back.", I said.

"Uh, NO thank you!", Kai said looking disgusted.

I rolled my eyes at Kai's stupidity. "Not you, Kai, I meant Crystal!", I said, eyeballing him. "OOOOOOOOOOH!", Max said, rubbing his finger together and puckering his lips at me. "Shut up.", I snapped, teeth clenched and all. Max shrugged his shoulder innocently and went along. Kai put Crystal on my back and we ran as fast as we could until we found the Bounty.
