Kai Gets Fierce

(No One's POV)

The ninja went to bed, wondering what "The One Dressed In Black" meant. Even Zane was unsure of the meaning. Crystal walked into her room and tried to figure it out herself while the other ninja tried to figure it out together.

(Crystal's POV)

'The One Dressed in Black'.

Hmmm...

HMMMMM!!!!!

Ok yelling "Hmm" isn't doing anything to help. It must be something to do with the Nindroid Twins I saw earlier. They must be part of this. I was trying to figure out what was going on. I decided to sleep on it and wait until tomorrow to think about it.

The next day, I opened my eyes. It was darker than usual. Usually the sun was out and shining in my face. Now, it was just dark. I checked my alarm clock.

10am...but....it should be lighter than this. It looked like it was 5am. I looked outside. The clouds were extremely dark. It was very cloudy, and the sky was a deep gray that wasn't very cheerful. Then suddenly, I heard a crash that sounded very close to me. I looked out the window, but nothing was there. I suddenly heard a shrilling ringing sound. 10 seconds later, Max came into my room and asked me if I had a microphone in my room.

"Yeah, Max.", I said sarcastically. "I have just brought a microphone from a store in the woods for 60% off!". "Ooooh..", Max said. "Ever heard of sarcasm?", I said, with my arms crossed. As soon as I finished my sentence, another shrilling ringing sound came. I covered my ears. Suddenly, Nya ran into my room. "Crystal, Max!", Nya said. "Did you hear that noise?". "Yeah.", we both said in unison. "Well..", Nya said. "I think I know what it is.".

We gathered downstairs to find out that it was coming from some place called The Clock HQ. We decided to go there and check it out.

(Max's POV)

I grabbed my bo staff. "Let's go, everyone!", I said putting my hood on, and the rest of the ninja followed. We followed Lloyd as we ran. I suddenly remembered the day Crystal said she saw Nindroid Twins.

Nindroid Twins, Pfft..

She was probably just being overdramatic!

Anyway, we walked into a giant building. It was a sort of titanium color, and there was a giant Clock on it. It looked like some rich person had spent their entire budget on this place. The shrilling ringing sound came again, this time, louder than the first couple. "This sound is killing my ears!", Cole complained. "We have to go in to figure it out.", Lloyd said. "Alright, guys. Let's go in.".

We walked in. Inside there was a golden carpet, and everything was basically titanium and pictures of clocks. There was a desk, and a black, leather spinning chair, which was turned around to the back. "Umm..", Crystal said, squinting her eyes. "Anybody there?". The spinning chair suddenly moved, and a girl turned around. The girl had long, dark brown hair tied in a messy ponytail. She had sunglasses sitting on her head and her nails were painted a very light red.

"I've been expecting you..", she said. "Mehh...no you weren't.", Kai said. "Whatever", said the girl. "What may I help you with?". "We need to see the owner of this place.", said Jay. "Follow me.", said the girl, turning around. "The sign..", I heard Crystal whisper to Cole. "That's what I saw on the Nindroid's jackets.".

We followed the girl into the giant room. I turned away for a second, and she was gone. I heard a couple people talking, so I snuck off and went to check it out.

"Time Master, the ninja are here.", said the girl.

She knew us?

Maybe she's the One Dressed In Black..

(Crystal's POV)

I watched Max run off. I didn't feel like going after him, so Nya went after him.

Anyway, we waited for Nya to come back. "Ugh, what is taking her so long?", Kai said. "Maybe Max just ran somewhere, cause he doesn't listen!", I said. Everyone glared at me like I was stupid.

(Play the song now)

Suddenly, the whole room started blinking red. A bunch of warriors in matching leather jackets pointed swords at them. Then, I saw them. The 2 Nindroid twins, and another person wearing a mask. "Here they are, Master!", Katniss said. "The ninja.". "Um, excuse me!", Kai said. "But, who the heck are you-". "My name is Katniss. I am a Nindroid, very intelligent, and a warrior. Master commands you to-". "SHUT UP!", Kai screamed. "Well, you wanted to know who they were.", said the one in the mask with a voice that reminded me of Darth Vader.

"What do you want from us?", I asked. "I want your powers!", said the one in the mask. "And if you don't, there will be serious consequences.". "We are not giving you our powers!", shouted Lloyd. "And we are NOT giving up, because we are ninja, and ninja never quit.". "Well, then I am sure you won't mind this.". The masked person flicked a switch and what played on the screen was Nya and Max in the middle of the floor. All of the tiles had disappeared. ".

Kai's face had turned angry. He looked down. He kept closing and opening his hands, and breathing heavily, in and out. "Kai, are you okay?", I asked.

"Stop.", Kai said, with clenched teeth. "Back away.". Okay, something is wrong with Kai right now. "Kai?", Jay said, walking up slowly. "Back away..", Kai whispered, still in the same position. Jay backed away backwards, a terrified look in his electric blue eyes.

"What's the matter, Kai Smith?", the masked person asked. How did they know Kai's name? "Scared?".

Kai's breathing became louder. Then, he lost it.

He ran up to them and tackled the Nindroid Twins and the masked person. It took all of us to pull Kai off of them. "Don't worry, Kai.". I said. "We'll get Max and your sister.".

"You have been warned..", said the masked person, and as they walked out with the Nindroid Twins, the whole room became black,
