The Search For Ady

(Max's POV)

Jay was panicking, and he was sweating like crazy. "If you don't stop shaking me,", Kai threatened. "Someone's going to die right now.". Jay soon figured out what it meant and stopped shaking him.

"This has gone too far!", I yelled. "We need to stop them, once and for all.". "We have to find her!", Nya panicked. "Who knows what terrible things they could be doing to her!". "Let's go.", Kai said, putting on his mask.

"Ninja-GO!", we all said and ran out the door.

At this point, it was just about to be 1am, and we still couldn't find Ady. We tried shouting her name a couple of times, but there was no response. "We lost her!", Jay said, throwing his hands down. "We didn't lose her.", Crystal said.

"Gem obviously took her!", Max said. "We must stop her before it's too late, and find out what that phrase in the letter meant.". "Speaking of that letter.", Jay said, his voice shaking again. "Was the letter s-supposed to rhyme?". "They were just trying to scare us out of it.". said Lloyd.

I could tell Jay was still creeped out by the letter, and I was even more creeped out by the fact that at midnight, Ady goes missing mysterious and now we are searching for her in utter darkness.

"Should...", Crystal started. "Should we what?", Kai asked. "Should we check in the Clock HQ place?", she quietly asked. "Heck to the no!", Kai yelled. "But, guys.", Nya said. "They probably have her in there.". "Yeah, and they're waiting for us to come so they can catch us.", said Kai with his arms crossed.

Nya looked like she was about to say something, but then she stayed quiet.

"Maybe we should go in there.", I agreed. "So, we can get Ady back. Then, we can totally bust Gem!". "For the millionth time!", Crystal yelled. "The chance of her being the ODIB is not that high.". "There's still a chance!", I yelled back. "They said the One Dressed In Black would be someone you'd never expect it to be.", Crystal argued. "But, you expect it to be Gem.".

"This isn't one of those stories people read, Crystal!", I shouted.

"Guys, stop arguing, please.", Cole interrupted. "The more we stand here, the longer Ady will be gone.".

"You're right, Cole.", Crystal said. "Let's go.".

We walked until we got there. For some reason, we had stopped in our tracks and didn't move. "Well, what are you waiting for?", Kai said. "Let's go in".

No one moved. We just stared up at the building. "Aw, come on.", Kai complained. "You guys aren't scared, are you?". "Oh, of course not.", Jay said shivering.

The building had somehow, changed.

Instead of it being titanium, it was now black, and the clock at the top (which was obvious fake) had changed to an hour after. "I really don't want to go in anymore.", Jay said quietly. "Fine", Crystal said. "You can stay here, by yourself, and keep guard for anything suspicious.". We slowly walked up to the door, while Jay stood there, looking at the clock, then turning out to the darkness. As soon as Zane opened the door, Jay ran over and said:

"Wait for me!! I swear I heard something!!!".

"Figures.", Crystal said. We walked into the HQ. The lights were out. The only light were 2 red candles. They smelled likes cinnamon.

I'm getting really uncomfortable now.

(Crystal's POV)

It was completely dark, and we probably wouldn't be able to see anything if the windows curtains were closed.

We soon walked into a hallway, with 5 different doors, 4 on the side and one straight ahead, which we knew lead to the main room. "Which door was it?", Max started to say to himself. "Let's just open some doors and see which one is the right one.", Kai said. "What if it's a trap, though?", I asked. "Open the wrong door, and it's bye bye, Ady.".
