The ODIB's Escape

(Crystal's POV)

"What?", Ady laughed. "You must be crazy! How could I be the One Dressed In Black?". "It all makes sense now.", I said. "You brought me here to distract me, so we wouldn't be suspicious.". "I was fooled just like you were, Crystal!", Ady yelled. "I thought we were friends!".

Ady turned around and crossed her arms in anger.

A small feeling of guilt started to fill me, but I pushed it off to the side. "They wouldn't talk about the only thing that could defeat them in a room near by! Also, how is it they were always after you?". "Don't forget that they also went after Nya and Max.". Ady added.

"Yes.", Crystal said. "Because YOU told them to. You knew our location, and you faked being captured so you could trap us! That was all an act!".

Ady smiled evilly. "Okay, Chrissy!", Ady laughed. "You got me. I am the Time Master. What's it to you?". "Why are you after us?", I asked, slowly taking my sword out.".

"You guys are the elemental Masters of Spinjitzu!", Ady said. "Your powers are the only thing that can power our time machine.". "Gem was right!", Crystal said. "The Time Master was who I never expected it to be.".

"Aw, you're good at memorizing things, I see.", Ady said, with a fake smile. "Good thing you found out before I left you alone with the Time Dragon.". I could feel the rage in my body.

How could I not have known?

I am so stupid!

Stupid, stupid, stupid!

I pointed my sword at Ady. "If you have hurt any of my friends, I swear to God..".

"And now you're SWEARING?", Ady gasped. "And to think I thought you were actually smart.".

Then the fight started.

I swung my sword at Ady, but she successfully dodged it with ease. "Now you're angry.", Ady giggled. "Anger makes you do stupid things, you know.".

"I'M NOT MAD!!", I screamed with a sarcastic tone. "I can almost feel the pure happiness in the soul.".

Ady scoffed and threw a small dagger at me, which almost snipped a piece of my hair off.

"You think you're so much better than me!", I snapped, shooting my silver power at Ady.

"Oh, I think I'm better than you?", Ady asked, then snickered. "Aw, you assume things.".

I ran after her, but then Ady used some sort of telekinesis technique and pushed me back. I fell on the back of my head and instantly felt dizzy.

So, not only is the ODIB, but she also has a big advantage.

And, how is that fair?

I don't even know.

Ady walked up to me and laughed to herself. "To be honest, I love making you mad.", she bragged. "It makes you look weaker than you already are!". I tried to get up, but almost every part of my head hurt. I could hear my head pounding.

"Looks like the Aqua Ninja got hurt!", Ady said, staring down at my dazed and tired self. Her attitude had suddenly changed.

She was no longer a sweet child who had gotten lost in Ninjago. She was now an evil psychopath who's goal was to steal our powers, and then probably kill us next!

And her next target was probably my friends.

And then probably everyone single person who lives in Ninjago City.

I laid there for a couple of minutes. I didn't want to get up, or I'll probably pass out for the third time during this long painful mission.

After slowly getting up, I saw Ady standing there, doing the average "bad boy" smirk.

Or in this case, bad girl.

Wait, why did she stay here instead of running off leaving me to moan in pain?

Suddenly, I heard water rushing in the distance.

Was Nya coming to save me from this crazy lunatic, aka Ady.

I saw water slowly rising from the edges of the cave. Ady smiled. "Looks like your plan is underwater!", she said, pausing before she said 'underwater' and ran off. I was shaking my head in my head.

That pun literally ruined my day.

Although, my day is already ruined, thanks to Ady the Time Master.

As soon as I was able to walk without tripping over the air, I did a very bad job at running after her just as the 'Infinity Gem's hideout' flooding.

As soon as I crossed the 'step on me for me to appear' bridge, I saw Ady running out of the cave. I tried running a little faster, but then I fell on my face like an idiot.

Screw.

(Zane's POV)

"Ugh, what is taking them so long?", Kai groaned. "Be patient, Kai.", I said to him. "We must wait for them to bring the Infinity Gem.".

"Be patient?!", Kai said, raising his voice. "BE PATIENT!!!". "Here we go again.", Nya said, rolling her eyes and looking away.

"It's been almost an hour!", Kai shouted at me, as I stared at him. "They still haven't come back. Look at me. I'm tired, it's dark. It's probably going to rain any minute now, and my hair is a MESS!!!".

"Well, it's too bad no one cares.", Nya blurted out.

"Get 'rekt', Kai.", Lloyd shouted. Kai turned around and shook his head.

Rekt?

What is this?

Oh, never mind.

"We still have time to wait.", Zane said. "Even though it's late, we should still find a way to make some time go by.".

"Zane's right.", Max said. "In fact, I invented a new game. It's called 'Super Ultra Killer Guns 1.0'. It's really fun.".

"How do you play?", I asked Max.

"Actually, I left the game at the house.", Max sighed.

Kai gave Max a mean glare.

"Okay, that's enough.", Nya said. "We should be worried about Crystal and Ady, not about stupid 3rd person shooter games.".

"Oh no!", Jay shouted out of nowhere. "What if Crystal DIED!??". "Jay, for the millionth time!", Cole shouted. "Crystal is NOT dead!!".

"But you will be.", said a female voice. I turned around swiftly. "Who said that?", Lloyd asked. We continued to spin around in circles and look around, but we saw nothing but dark clouds and shadows of trees.

"It's a ghost!", Jay shouted. "There's a ghooooost!!! WE HAVE BEEN LE HAUNTED BY-".

"Shut up, you son of a-", Kai began.

He was interrupted because we suddenly fell to the ground.

The last thing I heard was the same voice saying "I'm baaaack.", before blacking out.
