"Remember to feed him before bed and change his pull-ups if he has an accident," Sally told her lovers older brother, Percy held onto his mother's arms as she held him in her arms. "He has his pajamas on the restroom counter ready after he takes a bath-"
"Do not worry Lady Sally, the child will be safe in my care," Thor reassured the worried mother. It has been a long time since Sally and Loki had a night to themselves, especially with the miracle they had brought to the world, so they had planned a date for them. On such a short notice, nobody could babysit. Sally didn't feel safe with a random stranger watching her demigod son, no matter how credible they were, that is till Loki suggested his older brother.
"It is not Percy I am worried about," Loki joked. "Your belongings are by the table." He pointed to the leather bag having off the chair back. "There's food for both of you, Perseus has a specific bowl with food that's just for him, understand?" Thor nodded with a smile. "Your food is in the big silver bowl on the table."
"Go and enjoy your evening together, young Perseus and I will have some quality time together," Thor said as he was handed the small child.
"Bye Percy, be good ok?" Sally smiled and rubbed his cheek.
"We'll be back later, my child," Loki spoke to his son in his brothers arms. Although he knew that Thor would do whatever to keep Percy safe and out of harms way, he still felt uneasy.
"Bye bye mommy, bye bye daddy," Percy waved his hand at his parents who left.
When the door closed and all that was in the room was Percy and Thor, Percy started to cry. His eyes welled up with tears that fell down his face. Percy grabbed a hand full of Thor's midgardan clothes and cried. To the little two year old boy, he had thought his mother and father left him alone with a man whom he had never meet before. It was scary for a child. Thor looked down to the child in his arms and frowned at the tears that fell on his shirt from his nephew. He wiped the tears away with his thumb and walked to the living room.
Percy asked quietly to be put down and Thor happily obliged when Percy went to the toy box under the window. He rummaged through the miscellaneous toys of hot wheels, Legos, Light sabers, and various other things when he pulled out a foam sword from the bottom. He trotted over to Thor and gave him the toy then went back to the box and pulled out a foam scepter.
Thor looked weirdly at the scepter that Percy had, his immediate thought when he had seen it was, was Loki trying to teach him at an early age? The boy is still quite young to learn magic, but I see why not.
"Perseus," Thor called. Percy turned around and looked at him with his big green eyes. "Where did you get that scepter?"
"Mommy and Daddy made it for me," Percy said smiling. "I wanna be like Daddy and do magic!" A bright big smile erupted on the boys face. "I can do a wittle bit." Percy trotted back over to Thor and put the scepter on the ground next to him before extending his arms out, palms facing up. He concentrated with all his might and a small and quick little 'puff' of virdigris magic came from Percy's hands. "See! I did it!"
"That you did, young perseus," Thor smiled. "But it is no match for me! The great and powerful god of thudner!" Thor got up of the couch and pointed the foam sword at the two year old.
"I can beat you! I have magic!" Percy said and picked up his scepter. "Wait!" Rummaging through the toy box once again, he gave Thor a plastic army helmet and (tried) to put on a cloak. "Can you help me?" Thor helped him with the button and continued playing with him.
Once Percy's cloak was secured around his neck, they began to play. While they played, Thor was named the consumer. He had tried to take the magical crystal Nemo and use the power for a horrible thing. To eat all of the pop tarts in the world. But fortunately the great sorcerer Perseus was there! The used his magic to defeat the evil man and to save the crystal Nemo.
