The months between his Christmas break and spring break were pretty uneventful. Weekdays flew by attending public school and the gruesome training he was placed under, though he was grateful for them. On many occasions did Percy had to defend him and Peter from older students at the middle school and the nearby high school. They were determined to kick their asses, mostly Percy's. But every time they came, Percy was able to bruise them easily and send them running.
When Percy wasn't training, beating up bullies, or doing homework, he was enjoying a normal kid life with Peter. Spending time at each other's places to hang out, walking about the city, gaming at arcades, or simply having fun in the park. It was the normal life Percy craved since Loki left all those years ago.
But spring break was coming ever so closer, and the small three-person family were deciding on a place to go for the week. Tony was suggesting Tokyo. Millions of little gadgets and toys that both the older Stark and younger Jackson-Stark would love to play and mess around with. Pepper, again taking full jurisdiction, decided that London would be a good place to spend a quiet and peaceful spring break.
"What's in London anyway? Besides the immortal queen?" Percy asked drinking his Sunny-D.
"Let's see, there's Buckingham palace," Pepper chopped up tomatoes for her breakfast omelet. They were leaving that day--Saturday morning--and none of them were packed. "The great bell, eye of London--"
"The big ferris wheel?"
"Yep, and the tower of London," She smiled. "There's lots of things there that you can do. It'll be fun. Now go pack, we leave in two hours."
With a huff, Percy slid off the stool and made his way to his room. Since the Malibu home was destroyed, as well as Stark Tower, Tony decided that his old mansion upstate would be the best place to live while their new headquarters were built. It was only temporary. A good thing too, Percy couldn't stand the creepy portraits that occupied almost every blank wall and open space.
Hopefully this trip wasn't crazy or some sort of weird. Strange as it may be, Percy hasn't had a 'normal' year since the attack on New York. Before that it was a simple routine that repeated peacefully everyday for a few years after Tony took him in. It was always gala's and other business stuff he attended to, always homeschooled with the best private tutors and teachers Pepper and Tony hired, a good life that the most eventful thing was Tony getting taken in Afghanistan. Other than that, it was predictable; now, not so much.
At least the trip to London was predictable. A seven or so hour private plane ride across the pond to the second foreign nation Percy has been to--the first being Canada for a convention he wanted to attend. Smooth flying in the Stark Industries plane with their personal flight attendant and specially trained pilots. Percy has traveled many times in this plane, across the country to another country, and even to Hawaii for summer one year, he wasn't scared of flying. He was scared that bad weather was going to strike them down and Tony wouldn't get to the onboard suit in time to save them. That was a reoccurring nightmare Percy had when he flew, which was also very predictable.

London wasn't the brightest place to spend Spring break. Clouds covered the skies almost twenty-four/seven, it rained majority of the time, and Percy's allergies never seemed to go away. But Pepper wanted to spend time in London to go sightseeing like she's always wanted and Tony would be damned if he didn't let Pepper at least once in her life.
When they landed, their driver took them to a nice hotel Tony found and that's where they spent all day of Saturday. Unpacking, eating, unpacking, and then napping. For only a week's worth of clothes, there sure was a lot of clothes. Percy didn't mind. He knew that Pepper wanted to be sure they were prepared for anything that could happen--weather wise--in London. She brought large coats, windbreakers, parkas, raincoats, and every kind of sweater they had. Which they were grateful for because Sunday was due to rain in the later half of the day.
