19. "He's A tramp" comes over the mall radio. How does your character react?

Ellie was completely aware of the fact that she had just gotten out for winter break four days ago.

She was also well aware that there was still a week left before Christmas, but she had to buy the presents soon or else all the good stuff would be gone.

So here she was, 9 am on a Friday morning waltzing around Scarborough Town Center happily next to a less than thrilled Celia.

It looked as if she hadn't gotten enough sleep at all.

Ellie knew it was because she had spent the day and half of the night with Milo yesterday. He left early this morning for Wyoming with his parents to spend Christmas and New Year's with his dad's side of the family.

Ellie was especially excited because, well... it had finally happened.

Yes, Celia had told her she and Milo were officially dating.

And honestly, if Ellie hadn't seen them kissing a day before going on vacation, Celia would have never told her.

So much for a best friend she was.

But it was okay. She had been this way ever since Ellie had met her.

But Ellie honestly thought that their first kiss would have been a little more... romantic maybe?

And then she scolded herself because maybe they had already kissed and she didn't know about it.

Besides, she had to stop living in Disney movies. Nothing like that ever happened in real life.

Ellie had been walking past A Page in the Sun Sunday afternoon, when she suddenly caught sight of Celia's dark hair through the glass window that was located next to their favorite booth.

In front of her was Milo.

Now this part was normal.

It hadn't been the first time she'd seen the two of them 'hanging out' there or the movies, or the skating rink or any of that, but they were holding hands across the booth.

Then, Celia laughed at something Milo must have said, and he leaned over and kissed her.

Yes, he kissed her.

Ellie was sure she must have looked like a total idiot just standing there, staring at them with her mouth slightly open and her eyes wide.

Even though she knew there'd always been something going on between the two, it still took her by surprise because she was actually witnessing it.

As if sensing someone's gaze, Celia suddenly broke the kiss, and turned to stare straightly at her.

They both looked at each other.

Ellie wide-eyed, Celia's expression stoic.

Then Milo turned around, and waved at her.

Ellie waved back, and then continued on her way towards Lionel's house.
