We eat, which was, as Kayleigh said it, very good. Then when we start walking back to the cabin, Kayleigh says, "Free time until 3! Then meet me back here for our before-dinner activity."

Haley says, "We're going swimming!" Ella laughs and says, "More like tanning." They both laugh.

Kayleigh looks towards me and Lexie and explains, "Ella and Haley are against physical labor. You should see them when we go hiking." She looks at them and rolls their eyes.

Lexie laughs and says, "I love being outside. I love running, swimming, jumping, everything athletic."

I smile and say, "Same here! Especially running."

Kayleigh smiles at us and says, "I'm glad you guys are in my cabin this year. Now we have a chance at the Games." I look at Lexie and she looks at me and we shrug. Kayleigh smiles and says, "I'm off to run laps. Where you guys going?"

Lexie says, "Swimming!" Ella and Haley smile and link arms with her and they walk off to the huge pond/lake.

Kayleigh asks, "And you?"

I answer, "Arts & Crafts."

She smiles cockily and says, "Ew. I'd rather stab my eyes out with those scissors than make anything with them."

I laugh as she runs off and I start walking towards the Arts and Crafts place. (I read a sign, since Brady wasn't here to save me again.) I wonder where Brady goes.. I wonder when I'll see him next.

I shake my head and say, "No, Grace. No Brady for you. Brady and Addie. Grace, no Brady."

I keep talking to myself until I get halfway to the Arts and Crafts station. Then someone runs horizontally in front of me and almost bumps into me. I stop and stand there shocked as they pant and say, "I'm so sorry! You alright?"

He has shaggy dark brown hair and grey-ish eyes. He's running shirtless, which I've noticed a lot of guys do around here, with just basketball shorts on, like Brady was. God, get him out of your mind, Grace!

"Don't apologize! I should've been watching where I was going!"

He smiles and says, "Where you headed to, new girl?"

Is it really that obvious that I'm new? Come on! "Arts and Crafts station."

He chuckles and says, "Ahhh. Gunna go glitter glue some cabin signs?"

"Man, everyone hates the Arts and Crafts station around here..." I say to myself, but he hears me and chuckles.

"I like to run, not finger paint."

I smile and say, "I love running. But I figured I'd take it easy the first day."

He raises his eyebrow at me and says, "A cute girl who likes running? That's impossible."

I smile and say, "It's very possible. I love running."

"Hmm. All the girls around here are too scared to mess up their hair." He eyes me suspiciously and I say, "Well I'm the new girl, so I'm not 'all the girls around here'."

He smiles and says, "So, new girl. If you love running, come run with me. Ditch lame Arts and  Crafts." He winks.

I look down at my flip-flops and say,  "I can't run in these shoes. And I didn't get the memo," I say, pointing to his bare abs.

He laughs and says, "It's your choice if you run around with a shirt on or not."

I laugh and say, "I think I'll keep the shirt on.."
