I wake up and take a quick shower, nothing out of the ordinary. I have a lot that I need to do today! I need to talk with Alex and I need to start packing. Since we leave at around lunch time tomorrow, today is the day that we get most of our packing and cleaning done.

After I get dressed and ready, I notice that Kayleigh is up already, also. I ask, "Hey, Kay?"

She says, "Mhm?" "We have parties all the time, why don't we have one for the end of Camp?"

Kayleigh answers, "Well, on my Sophomore year, some people wanted to have a party, so we had one. Everyone was just crying and hugging and talking about how they didn't want to leave and sobbing about how much everyone will miss everyone."

"That's terrible!"

"Yeah, so, that's why we don't have a party. No one is in a party mood on the last day, everyone is just sad. That's why we leave in the early afternoon, also. Everyone is just all upset all day, so a lot of people leave early."

"That's so sad."

"It is. I would suggest saying goodbye to everyone today in case they leave early tomorrow."

"You better not leave without saying goodbye to me. Then I would definitely not invite you to my wedding."

"Invite?! I better be a bridesmaid!"

"As long as you don't leave without giving me a goodbye!"

"Grace, I was going to say goodbye anyway! But now you've promised me a spot as a bridesmaid and you better keep your promise!"

"I will," I say, laughing.

"Good. So, what are you doing today?"

"I'm going to talk to Alex, pack some, and now you've got me adding to my list that I need to go say goodbye to people."

"Sounds like a sad day."

"With leaving tomorrow, how could I have a happy day?"

When I was packing, I only left out my pillow, pajamas and an outfit for tomorrow. I put all of my artwork from the Arts & Crafts cabin that I had hung up on my wall in the very top of my pink suitcase so that they didn't get crumpled. I remember standing on the first day, with my 2 pink suitcases and my purse, no clue where to go and what to do.

I found my sketchbook and realized that I'm not going to finish it. It was something to do before my father died, it won't be the same working on it now. I promised Brady that I would show it to him after I finished it, though...

I tell Kayleigh and the rest of the Purple cabin that I'm going to go see Brady and Riley. They are all packing, too. I could hear Kayleigh and Lexie sniffle a couple times.

When I got to the Blue cabin, I actually knocked. I'm not sure why, but I just felt like I should knock this time.

Riley answers and his face lights up when he sees me. I want nothing more than to kiss him right now, but I know that I can't. Riley moves to the side and motions for me to come in. Like most of the time, it's only Brady and Riley in here. Instead of going to sit on Ben's bed, this time I'd just rather stand.

Brady asks, "Grace Everly actually... knocked?"

I laugh and answer, "Yes, yes I did."

Riley asks, "What's up?"

"Well, I need to talk to Brady about something. You don't have to leave, Butter."

Riley's eyes widen at me. I laugh to myself because he probably thinks I'm going to talk to Brady about Riley and I. I add in, "It's about my sketchbook."
