The kids last day of school finally came and just like he promised, Marquis came home. He came to my job and surprised me with flowers first. I nearly knocked him over and almost made him drop them when I saw him. I hugged him so tight that he had to tell me to let him go. I just missed my baby so much and I'm glad he's home safe. We had lunch together but when he had to go I got a little sad. He reminded me that we had plenty of time to make up but he needed to unpack before he went to get the kids from school.

When I got off work I drove straight to his house. I pulled in behind Rasheeda, I figured she'd be over here too. I know she's happy he's home just like me, that's basically her brother.
"Mommy! Mommy!" I saw Kenzie running towards me wet from being in the pool.
I picked her up, "Hey baby! How was your last day at school?"
"It was fun! But look mommy!" she pointed. "Daddy's here!"
"I see!"
"He got us ice cream after school and then we came home to swim!"
I giggled, "Slow down Kenzie. How much ice cream did you eat?" she held up four fingers. "You had four ice cream cones?"
"No mommy! I had four bowls with sprinkles!"
I put her down shaking my head, "Go head and play. King!"
"I got her ma!" Kenzie jumped in with her floaties on.
"BB!"
"Hey Rasheeda!" I gave her a hug.
"I'm going to fight your baby daddy."
"What, why?" I chuckled.
"He picked up all the kids and didn't tell me. I'm rushing to the school and they tell me her uncle picked her up. I'm like, Kirk didn't tell me his brother was in town. I'm calling his brother and he not answering. So I'm panicking until I get a FaceTime call from her on King's phone saying she's with MarMar about to go swimming." I bust out laughing but I know I would have acted the same way. "Girl he had my pressure all up."
"He told me he would be home on their last day but he came in earlier and surprised me at work."
"You ain't think to tell me?"
"Nah she didn't cause it was supposed to be a surprise for everybody."
She rolled her eyes, "Boy you almost caught a bullet."
"Well if you were at work when I rolled by you would have known."
"Whatever negro."
"Love you too sis." he said hugging her.
"Mhm. Next time call me."
"I got you." he then pulled me into his embrace, "How was work?"
"It was good but I couldn't really focus after you left."
"I'm here now." he said pecking my lips.
"Daddy come play with me!" Kenzie yelled.
"Okay here I come!"
"When is daddy going to play with me?"
"When the kids go to sleep." he patted my butt and walked away.
"Y'all both nasty."
"Whatever."
"When y'all going to see Solange?"
"We'll probably leave Sunday after church. I already took off."
"You should really come to Houston with me and Laiya."
"Eh, I'll think about it."
"Girl just come, you know mama and daddy have plenty of room."
"If I don't find a camp, I'll definitely talk to Marquis about it."
"Good."

"You're going to call me?"
I giggled, "Yes Mama. I will call you as soon as we land."
Mama G had driven us to the airport so we wouldn't have to pay for parking for a week.
"GG why you can't come with us?" Kenzie asked.
"I have to stay here. I'll be here when you come back."
"Can I bring you a t-shirt?"
"I'd love that baby."
"Uh with what money lil girl?"
"Daddy can I have some money?"
"Huh?" Marquis was not paying attention because he was too busy checking us in.
"Can I have some money to buy GG a shirt from Florida?"
"Yeah sure."
She smiled and I rolled my eyes. She's spoiled as hell. "Anyways, we have to go."
"Y'all be safe and make sure to call me when y'all land. Tell Solange I said hello."
"I will." She gave us all kisses and hugs then we boarded the plane.

"TT SOLO!"
"My babies!!" Solange picked all three of them up into one big hug. Strong ass. "Hey BB, Marquis."
"Hey Solange. How are you?"
"I'm good. I can't join y'all for dinner tomorrow night though."
"And why not?" I asked.
"I have to finish up this case on Tuesday. We just got new evidence and a witness finally came forward so my client can get off."
I nodded, "So when you win we'll celebrate Tuesday night. My treat."
"Y'all are my guest, I'm supposed to be treating y'all."
I waved her off, "You're my baby sister and I'm proud."
"Well one thing college taught me is to never turn down a free meal. But for now we can go to Fun Station."
"Yay!!" Kenzie shouted.
"Ma I wanted to go to Sky Zone." King said.
"We can go tomorrow. We'll be here a week."
"TT Solo won't be there though."
"I'll go up with you." He gave me a funny look, "What?"
"Last time you got scared."
I pushed him playfully, "It just caught me off guard. I'll be fine."
"Alright."
"Let's go."
We stayed at Fun Station all day until it closed. The kids put their tickets together so they could all get big prizes. Solange dropped us off at our hotel and said she'd be back to get the kids after her case on Tuesday. I made sure everyone took baths and got in their pajamas. They didn't have to go to sleep but I wanted them clean.
