"Do it again!"
"Mom, I've been practising my walk for three hours!" She quickly checks her watch, and sighs. "You're Lucky Maya Rivers, you have a lunch with a Vogue photographer in half an hour." I gasp, "I don't have much time to get ready!"

"Well then, I suppose you should hurry." I storm out of her room, and down the hall to mine.

"Ugh!" I flop onto my bed in frustration, why does my life have to be so horrible? How come I have to deal with a person like my mother? "I'm such a horrible person

"Ugh!" I flop onto my bed in frustration, why does my life have to be so horrible? How come I have to deal with a person like my mother? "I'm such a horrible person." Slowly pulling myself off of my bed, I try to think of something presentable to wear.

"Maya Rivers! My favourite model!" "Sorry," I furrow my my eyebrows, "do I know you?" The woman laughs, it sounds forced

"Maya Rivers! My favourite model!"
"Sorry," I furrow my my eyebrows, "do I know you?" The woman laughs, it sounds forced. "No sweetie, you don't, I'm the new photographer." I blink slowly, "what happened to Adaline?"
"Oh," the woman drags out the word, "she was fired."
"Wh-"
"Let's get started!" She cuts me off before I can investigate further.

Lunch drags on and on, I can hardly stay awake. I'm trying not to yawn, when Jennifer asks me a question that catches me off guard.
"Have you been in contact with a certain Chase Hathaway?"
"No not si-"
"Because my sources say," she clears her throat, "Wait, you're not really a photographer are you?" Now I've caught her off guard.
"Well- I"
"Get out." I seethe.
"Why? I-"
"Ace," I say to my bodyguard, "take her away."

"How dare you! I will find out! And I will ruin you! Do you hear me? Ruin you!"

"Mom, how could you?" I shut off the tv, so she's only focused on me, and what I'm going to say. "How could I what?" I scoff.
"Don't you dare play dumb with me, I know that you hired that paparazzi."
"Oh, honey, I just wanted me- I mean you to have more fame!"
"Are you serious?! Do you know what she asked me?"
"Of course I do, I was the one who told her to ask it." Hot anger spreads through my body.
"HOW COULD YOU?!" Tears start flowing down my face. "Do you remember how much pain I was in, how sad I was, all because of him?" I gulp, "do you remember what he did?"

                          -Flashback-
"Chase?" I call out, but no answer, I guess he must be sleeping. I creep into the washroom, and refresh my makeup and perfume.

Today is our two year anniversary, I want to at least smell, and look good.

I walk down to his bedroom, pausing at the door when I hear a girls laughter, and, "Babe, that tickles!"

I walk in, "Chase?" Tears immediately well up in my eyes. Chase pulls himself off the girl, who's face he was practically just sucking off.

"Hey Maya, want to join us?" He smirks.
"No, you- you cheater! How could you!"  I cry.
"Well, you just weren't doing it for me anymore." My jaw drops.
"You-"
"Um excuse me? Can you like, get out, Chase and I were kind of busy, right?" The girl, a stunning blonde with an even more stunning body, walks up to Chase and they start making out, right in front of me!

I run out of his house, and cry until I can't cry anymore.

                           -End of flashback-
"Mm, sure, yeah." My mom picks up her phone, "you have a shoot tomorrow at 10:00."
"I hate you!" I scream. Running to my room I know immediately what I have to do.

                                   Get away.
