Don't retaliate with your enemies because if you do, you are just like feeding the gremlins to produce more power against you. You cannot get high when you fight your enemies, instead you will knock yourself down. It is true that it is very difficult to control your temperament, especially if you feel you had enough. If you feel that the only way to kill the beast is to explode your wrath. If you condition your thoughts with this intention, then unknowingly you are passing on your enemies to encite more evil against you.
Christ tells you to love your enemies, conquer them with love as your weapon. Forgive them of all the bad things they have done to you. If you can love your friends, then you can love your enemies as well. Remember, there will never be any way to destroy them other than befriending them.If you forgive and make them friends they will ravage themselves for you in the process and your heart will be filled again with happiness.
