Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Because the world is imperfect your spouse is not flawless and impeccable and capable of making mistakes. You cannot survive a relationship without it. These imperfections can be sticking points that can rupture your marriage. The real key to prevent this and have a successful marriage is love, respect and understanding. With these three you can look with your spouse with the right attitude and love rather than looking at your partner as someone who amuse you or provide your needs.
Give love and respect instead of making your spouse as a prisoner of the obligations and characters defined by you. Don't make your spouse second choice but rather give the time your partner need. Treat your spouse right and be willing to be a servant than a master. Your spouse is your co-heritor of the blessed gift of life so you have the responsibility to give the respect, love and understanding your partner deserves.
