22: goodbye

SOPHIAS POV:
"Bye, noah.", I said.
"Bye Sophia!", Noah said in return.
Oh my lord I'm gonna miss him soooo much!
I opened the car door and said "thank you so much, Karine!"
"No problem, kiddo!", she said.
Kiddo?
Noah raised an eyebrow.
I giggled.
I slowly walked towards my house as someone came behind me and gave me a huge hug.
I turned around, it was Noah.
I put my arms around him as he kissed me on the head.
A tear fell down my cheek.
"I love you, Sophia.", he said.
"I love you too, Noah. So much.", I said.
He wiped the tear off my cheek, then gave me a huge kiss right smack on the lips.
"God, I don't wanna say goodbye to you.", he said.
"Neither do I!", I said, shoving my face into his chest.
Karine was recording all of this.
Noah looked back.
"Mom!", he yelled, annoyed.
Karen laughed and put her phone away.
"Bye Noah.", I said
"Bye Sophia.", he said as our hands split apart.
"I love you!", I yelled.
"I love you more!", he yelled back.
I walked up my stoop and unlocked the door, scared to see what was behind it.
I opened the door to my parents sitting at the kitchen table.
"hi.", I said.
My mom motioned me over and gave me a hug.
Then I saw my dad.
"Sophia Marie Jackson! Where the hell were you! We were worried sick!", my dad said
"I-I was at Noah's house.", I stuttered.
"Why!?", my mom asked
"Who the hell is noah!?", my dad yelled.
"My uhh friend.", I said.
They both looked extremely confused
"Okay! You cant tell Uncle Bob that I told you this but... he's abusive.", I said, nervously.
"yeah right. you just wanted an excuse to be with Noah!", my dad said.
"No! You can ask Noah! Are you even looking at my-", I cut myself off.
All my scars are gone show I showed them the bruises.
"Look.", I said.
"Okay, I Sure there's some reasonable-", my mom said getting cut off.
"No! There is no reason besides the fact that he can't go a day without a drink! Uncle Bob is an abusive alcoholic!", I screamed in anger.
"Whoa whoa whoa!", my dad said.
"Okay, Sophia, we won't leave you alone with him anymore. End of discussion. Now, just go to your room.", my mom said sternly.
