I looked at the clock.
4:39
great, I have school tomorrow.
I had no idea what to do with myself without Noah. I needed him.
Me: Noah?
Noah: hey. how'd it go!?
Me: uhh okay. my mom said she believe me but I honestly doubt it.
Noah: oh. were they mad??
Me: my dad... a bit. my mom not so much.
Noah: Okay, good. Are they like mad at me??
Me: I dunno 🤷🏻♀️
Noah: I hope they aren't because if they are they I won't be able to see you.
Me: do you wanna FaceTime
Noah: I'm in the car atm but definitely later.
Me: gotcha
"Sophia! Dinner!", my mom screamed
I ran downstairs for dinner.
"Sophia where we-", my sister started.
"We won't be talking about that.", my mom said.
I sat down and started eating my macaroni.
"So Sophia, anything thing new?", my dad asked.
"Well I auditioned for a show.", I said shyly.
"What show?", my mom asked.
"Stranger Things!", I said
"REALLY!?", my dad gasped.
He loves Stranger Things.
"Yep, and that Noah kid I was hanging out with, he plays will byers.", I said.
"No way! You should've told me!!", my dad exclaimed.
"Ooh Sophia! You're gonna be famous!!", my sister yelled excitedly.
"I don't know about that.", I said giggling.
It was quiet for a few minutes.
"it's filmed in Georgia.", I said quietly.
"Then you're not doing it.", my mom snapped quickly.
"Come on, Michelle! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and she really loves to act. Plus, we don't even know that she got the part yet.", my dad said.
"Yeah, and there's schooling. Noahs studio teacher would be happy to take me too.", I said.
"Okay then. As long as we get hotels and-", my mom started as I cut her off.
"We'll worry about all that if I get the job!", I said.
When we finished, I went back up to my room to see my phone loaded with texts.
Noah: GUESS WHAT!!
Noah: YOU GOT THE JOB!
Millie: DID YOU HEAR!?
Finn: umm congrats ig
