39: Hope.

SOPHIA'S POV:
I woke up to alarms and screaming.
"His heart, his heart! It stopped!", a younger nurse screamed
"I'm coming in!", a surgeon said.
Oh my god.
I silently prayed.
I ran to the bathroom to wipe my face when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
It was Millie.
"Millie?", I asked.
"I'm so sorry.", Millie started crying.
"It's not your fault.", I said, started to cry even more.
"Yeah. It is.", Millie said.
"What!?", I exclaimed.
"I-I was mad at you for filming me and Finn so I told Noah that you cheated on him.", Millie explained.
"How could you!?", I yelled.
"I was angry at you!", she yelled.
"I didn't even do that, here, take the stupid security tape and leave!", I said, handing her the tape then pointing to the door.
Millie was about to speak but stopped herself and left.

I can't believe her.

I went back into Noah's room to see my dad and his dad there.
My dad looked at me and saw how messed up I was.
"Aww soph.", my dad said.
I walked towards him and he gave me a hug.

2hrs later

"His heart is beating again!", a surgeon screamed.

From my pocket, I felt my phone buzz.

TEXT MESSAGES
Millie: I'm sorry
Millie: ik it wasn't you.
Millie: it was Gaten
Millie: I've already spoken with him,
Millie: he was just mad at finn for stealing ally,
Millie: please respond
Millie: I'm really sorry
Sophia: someday I'll forgive u. Today isn't that day.
Millie: Sophia please.

Ugh I can't deal with this right now.
It was only 7am and I was already tired.
Today was gonna be awful.

My dad already took care of our jobs, he explained everything to the director.
I fell asleep on and off, waiting for some news about Noah.
