1 Corinthians 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

After her brothers were gone, Susan felt at a sudden panic rise into her chest. She was terrified. Caspian saw the girl he liked, no loved change.

'Susan' He held her shoulders and forced her to look into his eyes. 'I am here, do not fear. I am with you and I protects you' He saw the tears shine in her eyes.

He was also terrified. Lucy was taken! This was his family, the had saved him from his uncle and helped him to claim his throne. And now they were all here, in the land the loved most, something terrible has happened!

'Susan' Caspian's Telmarine accent rings in my ears. His is still holding me by my shoulders, in a protective way. 'It is all going to be alright. You have to believe!'

'I am believing!' I say a little bit more irritated than I meant too. His eyes become soft, loveable it seems. We are standing in front of my door and Caspian opens it. I didn't even noticed we were walking. He leads me to my bed and pushes me on it. 'Sit' I do what I am told.

It is silent in the room. I see him observing me, he is standing in front of the door. 'What?'

'You are beautiful' He says bluntly. I feel my face redden. 'What did you say?'

'You heard me' He says in a whisper and makes his way over to me. My heart is beating faster. He drops on his knees before me, taking my hands in his. 'Every time I look at you Susan, I feel more love than I thought would be possible'

What?

'When Aslan told us three years ago, that you would never coming back, my heart was breaking. But thanks to your father, the mighty lion, you are back. Back here with me' He sounds emotional. 'Caspian, I' I search for words. Words that do justice to him. Justice to the words he just spoke. But I can't find any so I pull him closer and we kiss.

I love the feeling of his lips on mine. I want to call him mine! When we pull back Caspian smiles. 'So, I suppose you feel the same way?'

'Yes Caspian, I do. The day I first came here, we shared also a kiss. Back then I didn't really know what to feel, because of Lucy her story'

'Which story?'

'Lucy told me before over Lilliandil. But I know now, you love me as I love you' I smile at him, feeling stupid I doubted him. Caspian looks to the ground. 'I am sorry' He says almost in a whisper. I let go of his hands and hold his chin up. I look in his beautiful brown eyes, eyes that make you drown. 'Don't. I was gone for three years. And you knew I was never coming back. So I understand' He smiles and rest his forehead against mine. 'She is gone Susan. You are the one who holds my heart'

I am melting. How lucky can I be!

He is mine!

We share a loving kiss that makes me wanting more. But I can't think in such a way. Later maybe. First we have to find Lucy.

Caspian stands up. 'Peter told you to rest Su. And I think it is the best for you also. So..' He turns around and makes his way to the door. 'Stay' The word slips out of my mouth before I can even think about it. Caspian stands still, like he is frozen.

Panic rises into my chest. Aslan, please no!

But he turns around, his eyes searching mine. 'But' I can hear the worry into his voice. I smile. 'No Caspian, I want you to lay beside me. I want you to hold me' He grins and I see he let his breath escape. He kicks his black leather boots off and slips under the blankets. 'I shall change into my nightgown' I say and my voice becomes a little more higher than normal.

Seriously Susan?

You two are just going to sleep.

Nothing more!

I rush to my chancing room and with trembling hands I unbutton my dress. I let it fall to the ground and loosen my corset. First I take a deep breath and then I change into my pink nightgown. I let my long hair fall loose against my back. I look at myself in the long standing mirror.

Okay Su, you are just going to bed. To sleep. Calm.

Cursing mentally in walk into my room and stop immediately.
Caspian stands with his sword drawn for the bed, his whole body covered in ice. I can see his eyes moving.

'Hello Susan'

Her voice cuts into the air. I can hear my heart beating in my ears. 'Aren't you curious about your little sister?' She stands at a sudden before me. Her icy breath freezes my cheeks and nose. 'Remember the garden? Where all those statues were standing, 1300 years ago?'

She walks around me, letting her hand rest on my left shoulder. It freezes immediately. 'Do you!?' She appears again before me, screaming this time. With her scream the whole room freezes.

I am to. A statue. But I can still think and move my eyes.

Aslan!

'She stands there. Waiting on her brothers and sister to join her. This is a very slow dead' She says sweetly. With firm hands she holds me against her and the last thing I see is a frozen Caspian.
