Taeyang's friends tried their hardest to cheer him up the next morning. No matter what they did, he continued to mope around, bringing everyone's mood down. They were sitting in class, cracking jokes, trying to get a laugh out of the sad boy.

"That's what she said." Seokwoo laughed out when their teacher made a comment on how big and long some building was. Hanmin giggled and looked over at Taeyang who didn't even have the smallest traces of a smile on his face. She stopped and her shoulders slumped. "Won't even laugh at my sexual humor. Who are you?"

Taeyang simply shrugged and layed his head on the table. Seokwoo was very quickly getting sick of this side of the other. Sure, he had seen him bummed out before but this, in his eyes, was just pathetic. He withheld any comments to the boy due to the fact that he did just have a break up.

"I saw Hwiyoung at lunch yesterday. He didn't sit with us, but he sat at the next table over." Hanmin said. Taeyang shifted in his chair. "He doesn't exactly seem to happy either."

"Well it was his choice so I don't care." The teacher turned to look at the class after hearing voices but went back to the board after not discovering where it was coming from.

"I just thought it would effect you knowing he wasn't having the time of his life either." She said, beginning to grow annoyed. Taeyang turned to face the girl, narrowing his eyes.

"Why would it effect me? He broke up with me. He's not my problem anymore. Now leave me alone about it." He hissed out. His facial expression softened after he realized what he had said. "I'm sorry."

"Whatever. I get you're torn up about it, but right now you're only two modes are mopey and dick and it's getting really old really fast." She snapped crossing her arms. Seokwoo could see Taeyang's shocked expression. He just bit his lip. It was only so long until someone said something.

"What are you smiling about?" Youngbin asked. Taeyang lifted his gaze from his phone to his friends.

"I'm just texting someone." They all stared at him, slightly shocked. "What, can I not do that?"

"No, that's fine." Youngbin said hesitantly. Taeyang smiled and looked back down at his phone.

Taeyang and Chani were the first ones out of the school and under the tree after hearing that club was cancelled for the day. The rest of the boys slowly came out until they were all seated on the grass. They were all talking happily. The weather was nice and the sun was out from the clouds. Taeyang seemed to be a lot better than he was this morning which made everyone more relaxed. Everything was fine until they saw Hwiyoung exit the building. Taeyang felt his heart beat faster. Everyone assumed he wouldn't be joining them but they didn't expect what they saw.

He walked out of the building with his head hung low. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and his head snapped up. He began running towards someone. They were standing by the sidewalk. He jumped into the boy's arms, pulling him so close.

Taeyang felt as if he stopped breathing. His head cleared and that was all he could see. Everyone had seen it. They were all silent, looking at each other. No one had any idea who that was. Taeyang's eyes never left the two. He continued to watch them even as they walked down the street hand in hand.

Hwiyoung had lingered in the halls, waiting for the other students to leave before he did. After around ten minutes, he walked out. He stared at the ground, not wanting to see his friends in their usual spot. He felt the familiar buzz in his pocket. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and looked at the screen.

He had never raised his head so fast. He could feel the tears begin to sting his eyes. There he was, down by the sidewalk. His best friend. The boy he had known for years. The one who had always been there for him. The one who had stayed up until the early hours of the morning with him. The one who always seemed to put him first. The one and only Hwang Chanho.

Before he realized what he was doing, he was running down to the sidewalk. When he reached the boy he pulled him into his arms and buried his face in his neck. He could feel the tears slip out of his eyes. Chanho wrapped his arms around him and smiled.

"It's been a little while, hasn't it." Chanho said. Hwiyoung let out a heavy sigh. It felt like forever since he heard his voice. The familiar deep hum. Without separating he responded.

"I'm sorry. I should have said something. I was expecting you to be here tomorrow." Hwiyoung whispered. Chanho let go of him. He looked at the boy in front of him.

"I figured I'd surprise you. You've gotten skinnier. You have been eating, right?" Hwiyoung nodded but looked down. Chanho wiped away the stray tears on his cheeks. "We'll discuss that later. Are you hungry?"

"I guess so." Hwiyoung hummed out. Chanho rolled his eyes.

"Let's get some food in you. Remember, three meals a day." He poked the boy in the chest.

"Yes, hyung." Hwiyoung giggled out. He offered his hand to the older boy who took at and started down the road.
